Any chance of a Ratesetter App? It would make things far easier and be able to lend when markets peak during the day, which they certainly tend to do. It would be great to take advantage of this and would almost certainly make me lend more.

What advantage would that have over using a web browser to look at the mobile version of the website?

This was discussed some time ago, and at that point in RateSetter's evolution it was decided to not build a dedicated app. This would require significant development and maintenance effort, when a mobile configured full web page is potentially better and largely bug-free. I do all my lending from my mobile on Chrome. Never had a problem.
But I'll mention to IT your thoughts.

Well I guess that's why banks also have apps. Easier to use the app. Probably just me...

You seem to be forgetting the minor detail of how many people would be using a bank's app versus RS's - and balancing that against both the initial development cost and the ongoing maintenance costs for both iOS and Android apps. If a website is well designed to be mobile-friendly, then an app is utterly unnecessary bling-du-jour.

I think it is much easier to use the same simple web interface (with the same full set of features) on the mobile as well as the desktop. Even places that have neat apps (like HL, and various banks) I prefer to use the web interface .. though of course using anything financial from a mobile is seriously risky, security-wise.

The H-L app (a bit like the original old Funding Circle app, that I haven't used for years) doesn't include all the web based features. It was a simplfied version, and ultimately wasn't good enough. Now I only used the web based desktop version for both.
