PLEASE NOTE : This post (and all my DD posts) are no longer being updated by myself (besides the basic loan status)
Observations from the valuation report & other remarks> The property is occupied by a tenant > The surveyor considers the property provides suitable security for lending purposes ( well that's nice to know) > General external maintenance is required and the roof hip tiles require attention ( no big expenses required here)

This loan is still in the pipeline yet there is investor activity: s*****m £350, dated 17/3/16 17/3/15.
Is this normal?
Usually the particulars include information about the charge on the security. I cannot see it for this loan. Is it written somewhere else?
I also note with pleasure that we have a valuation report from which we (the people putting money in this loan) are not excluded.

It's got to be saving steam.... s***********m = savingstream However, there are one too many stars......... but still, must be them balancing the books

I mentioned about three months ago (can't find the post) that s**********m looked suspiciously like savingstream. The number of stars was correct at that time, and was annoyed that they were buying in microseconds what I was trying to buy. I never knew why.

And old Grumples has knocked that up to £450 with a bit of Gor - I'll av a bit more of that finger flashes. After all this time I've got it down to a single click when I'm positioned in the starting blocks Probably what Partacus (and others) sussed out months ago! |

Seems quite a few didn't bother as it was such a tiddler - only 1080 odd investors at distribution time, rather than the more recent 1600-1800 or so.

Please excuse what may seem a silly question. Why, bearing in mind SS record of no monies lost on the platform (or so I'm told) are people so happy to have an allocation in this loan. There are so many other loans available on SM to use their money or is it everybody likes to be a diverse across all loans. As I say I'm only in my first week and learning.

There are so many other loans available on SM to use their money or is it everybody likes to be a diverse across all loans. As I say I'm only in my first week and learning. Mainly investors diversifying; it's also not a bad looking investment, and the smaller ones are easier to recoup if something goes wrong. SS may not have lost penny in our investments, but we should still do at least some basic DD
