Is it normal that I didn't receive an email when I got a WC investment repaid? Last month I put a smallish amount in for a monthly term to get my foot in the door here. I decided to log in this morning to check when it would pay up as I thought it was around about a month and discovered that it had paid back today. FC and SS both send me an email when a loan is paid back, and I would have expected that WC would have too - I've committed the repaid amount into a 6 month term this time, and I don't want to have to make a diary entry for when to check it - were I to put additional amounts in here it would get totally out of hand. I would have been annoyed to have left the money hanging around in the account, not having realised it had paid back. I've waited a few hours now in case the email was somewhere in transit, but it appears not.

ramblin rose Thank you very much for your comment. Last week we spent some time checking all of our automated emails and finding out any other emails that we needed to arrange. We identified this email as an important one that we did not already have in place. This is a result of overlooking the situation for the 1 month product which we are solely to blame. We have put the wheels in motion to rectify this now and hope to have this in place very soon. While we are on the topic, I would like to expand the conversation to any more emails that any users would feel are needed or any that we already send that people feel are too much....

That's great, thanks. As long as I get my email in 6 months time I'll be happy.

I am increasingly impressed with the responsiveness of Wellesley to emails and other requests.
I hope this is indicative of the quality of their business operations.
I dipped a fairly large toe (for me) a month or so ago and am now contemplating getting my ankles wet, it is one of my 4 P2P(B) "investments" and, at the outset, the one that I was feeling most nervous about.
Feeling much more relaxed now!

That's great, thanks. As long as I get my email in 6 months time I'll be happy. Oh dear wellesleyco. I didn't get an email on the 17th Sept when my 6 months investment matured. As expected, I didn't remember that it was due on the day - it was this morning when I was doing some other financial housekeeping that I remembered. So, I've re-invested the money this morning, but missed out on 11 days of interest as a result. Did your review manage to miss out the 6 month email requirement? Not really good enough I'm afraid - you don't have all that many investment terms to keep track of.

You would have thought for reinvestment they would be keen to let you know let alone courtesy .

Well, just to report back on this - WC have indeed looked into the issue today and it seems that the maturity emails were inadvertently disabled during some recent email system changes. If anyone has shortish term money invested with WC, then I'd recommend logging in and checking that it hasn't matured without you receiving an email. I won't be able to check out future performance on this for another year because that's how long I've tied up the money for this time. I really do hope I get an email this time next year
