It's Sunday, presumably the RS office is closed, why/how is there activity in the lending markets?

A simple one-word answer would have sufficed...

Enviably brief, but we appear to know part of this:
I read total demand in last month of £183,841,929 (Ratesetter Info - ratesetters) and total loans last 30 days (Ratesetter info - Volume) £48,955k. So current CONVERSION rate appears to be 26.6%. What we don't know is what proportion of approved loans are accepted by the borrowers.
I know that there is a lag between application and approval and not all months are 30 days, but seems a fair approximation, or did I misunderstand? I know Zopa at one time used to only show applications that got past a certain point in their process, it would be good to understand these figures as this looks high to me.
