How do I invest on the pipeline loan(s)
I realise that all but one are only open to current investors but I have tried the racing car. There is a starting date of tomorrow - is that when bids can be made or when the loan becomes live?
Sorry if there is an obvious answer but this my first time on this site.

You can place bids from the start time, in this case 4pm tomorrow, which is when the loan goes live on the site. With small loans like this one, they will go very fast so you probably need to bid at the start time to be sure. You will also see some activity on the SM market prior to and around launch time as people sell down existing loans to fund the new one. In case you arent aware the SM is the same as the primary market, anything highlighted yellow is avaliable, some will be loans that havent fully funded ie the latter tranches of the Removals and a bit of Manchester Dev, the rest will be SM

Its only 1/2% max on this one so needs 200 wanting the maximum to fill it. It will go quick but not with in seconds like some loans you should have at least 15 mins

Sorry again but have a further question. Since opening the account have transferred money in and bought a few (small) loan parts. I have now received an email asking for further information to verify my identity - if I do not comply the account will be closed. I had exactly the same problem with Collateral who went back to their credit agency who adjusted my rating and they opened the account. My rating was admittedly rubbish but I put that down to the fact that I have not had a mortgage since 1995, bought nothing on credit since the mid 1970's, have never had a credit card and do not have a mobile phone account. It also showed that I was not on the electoral role in spite of receiving daily pleas from Mr. Cameron, Boris et al asking me to stay or go. Is this procedure normal for MT or should I start to feel paranoid. Sorry if this tuned into a rant but I sometimes have trouble remembering who I am myself without having to prove it to others.

They will do checks in the background if they cant find anything on you they will need to ask for more informaton, will just be the same as the other site and would guess you will need to do same on some others, I have to give extra information on a few and not others so I guess it depends who they use to do the checks and how competent they are.

Afternoon biscuitbri, I can assure you that we often have to go back to newly registered lenders to request additional information if in the event we are unable to identify them using TraceSmart IDU (identity verification system). I would just like to highlight that we do not undertake any credit searches on lenders. If we can be of any assistance please feel free to email support@ or ed.pearce@ moneything.com or call us. Kind regards, Ed

My brother had the same thing, though not sure he had actually invested/funded, quick email/call to MT sorted it IRC, cant remember if had to provide docs. Depends on your financial/identity footprint and how they do AML/KYC checks. I dont tend to get it as I have a big footprint (no jokes) but every now and again somebody bounces something back, usually cos I have a weird email address. Edit crossed with the horse's mouth so to speak

Whilst many of the platforms use the same company for identification checks, the variation between platforms will be down to the score settings by way of thresholds they will accept during take on procedures. Aaa a model citizen , you are of no use to the banks, credit card companies, Apple etc etc , so you get downgraded.

Hi Ed,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I know I should pop down the library to have my info scanned etc. but I'm on a roll.
Just googled Tracesmart and their site states " Tracesmart are now Lexis Nexis Solutions" the same company whose report Collateral had adjusted, I think on the electoral role score.
If it is any help I have my Register number.
Regards
Brian

Edit crossed with the horse's mouth so to speak To be fair, 9 times out of 10 I also fail the identification systems since I am a foreigner to the UK (IOM born & resident). I tend to have to keep a stack of quarterly certified copies to hand of utility bills & passport. Regards, Horse.
