Ratesetter prepaid loans don't normally appear in batches, but I was notified of 6 repayments over a 40 minute period at 2am this morning
Wondered if this indicates multiple loans are being made to the same person, or does Ratesetter now process backlogs of repayments in occasional batches?

geofff I wonder if the notification emails just go out automatically at that time and the repayments were just made throughout the day at different times

It could be that you were unlucky, and all 6 were defaults. But the repayment and default process is a batch run, and multiple emails can be sent at the same time. Perhaps you've got quite a large portfolio, or a diversified one, and you just naturally will get more exposure to loans early repaying or defaulting.
If your interested I could look at the contracts, but I don't think it matters.
Kevin.

I'm almost entirely invested in the 5 year market and I've had about half a dozen early contract repayments on each of the past two nights. As Kevin says, without further investigation we're not going to know whether these are due to defaults or people genuinely paying back early but they definitely seem to be on the increase. Also as has been observed on the rates thread, it's pretty difficult getting it lent back out at a reasonable rate at the moment.
...now can anyone remember whether voting in or out of the EU is supposed to make interest rates go up or down or whether the person saying it had any credibility?

Tell me about it, I had a £100 loan repay early a couple of days ago with the magical rate of 6.7% no chance of getting for the foreseen future

I had a 5 year loan repay early this week and this time I am investing the proceeds in a 3 month loan on Archover that is paying 6.25%
