Just wanted to acknowledge MT for the blistering speed of my deposit just now. Within literally seconds of switching tabs from my bank back to MT the deposit was confirmed, enabling me to get a slice of the latest loan. Suppose I should thank my Bank as well for their efficiency, but that goes against the grain. Haven't tried the 'withdrawals' yet.

Same experience...I did the bank transfer and then forgot that I hadn't done the usual via the Moneything website...within 2 mins of doing so money was there.

I registered with MT today.Do I need funds in my account before I buy into a loan ? My only other experience of this type of P2P is SS where you can invest first and pay later. Cheers

New to MT - diversifying a bit from SS and Collateral .....
Realistically after doing an FP from my bank and completing the MT deposit form, how long SHOULD it take to change from pending to received?
Not looking for any firm guarantees ....just peoples experience. Like many I dont like funds sitting where they aren't earning interest for too long .......

Just make a deposit and it was credited to my account within 2 minutes!! Either I was very lucky and made the deposit just as they were doing a reconciliation, or the process has been automated........

Why do we need to fill in the deposit amount every time we make a deposit ? I made a transfer yesterday and forgot to complete the details at the MT end.Seems an extra step that other platforms don't need

It tells MT to check account, thats why funds are credited so quickly. Same at Collateral & FS who are also quick. Larger platforms have automation but expensive and not possible for all.

Does MT accept deposits at the weekend? I made a faster payment early this morning when the SM was looking good, but the funds are still pending...

Hi All,
I've been processing deposits and withdrawals today, but many have not yet been received in our bank. I don't know if the bank is being slow today.
Jamesc- if you PM me your details I'll check your withdrawal- but there were none outstanding as of 10pm last night. Some have been delayed from this morning.
I'll be back online at 5.30pm today to action any more that come in this afternoon.
Kind regards
Sophie
