I arrived home just before 4 and realised I'd forgotten to transfer any funds. I did the transfers anyway, more in hope than anything, and they appeared within a minute of telling MT that they were on their way. Full marks to the MoneyThing and all the other Things.

Has anyone had deposits processed in the last few hours, I have made two deposits and not been processed in usual quick time. Have e mailed and called all to no avail just wondering if they had a fire alarm or something ?

I also stuffed in some earlier today and it took about an hour to be acknowledged which is certainly longer than the Things normally take during business hours. I assume they're a bit shorthanded.

I've just completely missed today's 18%'ers because my deposit still hasn't arrived. For once a bit of a poor show - no emails about the unexpected roll-over, and no deposit processing . I hope this is a one off and not a sign of increased popularity causing a strain.

Likewise and still waiting. To cap it all, one of my 18%ers mustn't have had the rollover box ticked.

I also realised rather late that there was some more of the lovely 18% being offered, so did not manage to do the transfer until ~15:50. I knew that was cutting things a tad fine, but MT have lead us to expect miracles.
Not too surprised that it was not acknowledged in time for the 16:00, but a bit surprised that it is still not shown.

I tried to make my first deposit to MT early yesterday. Later in the day I received an email from one of the Things explaining that they had unfortunately not received my money.
I eventually discovered that my so-called "helpful bank" had "helpfully" blocked the payment as a suspected fraud, but not actually bothered to tell me. After stamping my feet in branch today, payment was released and the charming Things credited my account almost immediately.
It is worth mentioning that I have spoken to several people at MT now, and they have all been very helpful and focussed on customer service. Long may it continue!

Just wait till MT get their first default. Experience tells me that the 'love in' with the Things will for a few people swiftly turn to stamping their feet in the MT branch.......

Yes, it's bound to happen. Some people don't seem to understand that the rates are high for a reason. But in the meanwhile it's pleasant to do business with people who are communicative and approachable.

This forum will be the death of P2P.
Stop moaning. Your input is irrelevant, my input is irrelevant, Uncle Tom Cobley's input.....
It is what it is, people will ALWAYS chase the money. Have a play, spin the wheel and when you are ready to quit, get the hell out and let others take your seat.
Didn't you study History at school?
It's pathetic really.
'May I ask...?' 'Could you enlighten me....?' 'Could I be so bold as to....?'
Sometimes I wonder why Ed bothers. He doesn't need this.
Isn't it human nature to protect? Protect your young, your crop, your fledglings, your borders.
I think 13%, today, is worth looking after.
