I went to change something in my Contact Details page and I saw that some people have a PIN for their account. I'm sure I never had one, so what's this all about? I managed to amend my details without it but an extra level of security would be good when accessing or changing sensitive information.

You can set it up by going to "Account Preferences" at the top of the page, and then choosing the "Account Preferences" link from the list on the left hand side.

The functionality has always been there, to have dynamic log-in where a text is sent to your mobile. This extra level of security is considered important by some, but not RateSetter. So it's offered to those that want it, but not forced.

If you enable it then you are asked to enter both your password and pin each time you log in. I use it for piece of mind rather than and concern about ratesetter security which has always been great even in the very early days of the platform.
