I have noticed an issue with the tax statement and wondered if any other users were affected.
When going to generate a tax statement, the amount shown on screen with accompanying text "Below is the amount of income you have received in the period 6th of April 2015 to 5th of April 2016. This is the interest you have received in the period net of fees. This amount should be supplied as income when you submit your tax return" did not match the amount in the PDF on the same page and was off by a few thousand pounds for me.
RS said they know about this problem although it was not flagged for me and I only noticed when I happened to double check the two figures. If I hadn't checked, I'd be submitting incorrect info to HMRC for my self assessment and would be none the wiser. They have offered to send me a correct PDF via email.
So, I suggest others also double check their statements for similar inconsistencies.

The one on screen. If I'd have blindly used the PDF, I'd have understated my income by quite a few thousand pounds.

Thanks. My pdf showed income too low by a factor of 6 compared to the site. Short email fired off!

Nice to hear. Now try this. Go to account history, filter to the correct dates, download into excel, filter the columns to show interest and fees only and then total. Do your figures still match? Mine were still out but this time by only a few pence. RS now have 3 different sets of figures for this tax year.

Mine didn't match when I tried in May. So they emailed me a correct one as below on the 30th May. Not sure if this still the same error.

Thank you for your email, I have attached an accurate version of your tax statement. There is an error on our website causing the discrepancy, we are working to resolve the issue. If there’s anything else I can help with, please let me know. Kind regards

Interesting the error that was on the website for me on the 30th May is still there. The PDF is still out by a large amount.
