I agree with Blender, this could have been handled a little better, in particular for those not in this particular defaulted loan who were left wondering what has happened So this loan is defaulted then? I don't know why we have to have all this secret squirrel malarkey, it certainly doesn't instill confidence in the platform.......

Hi All We wrote to those involved and have updated the info in the admin section. Anyone who didn't get the mail do contact info@ablrate and let us know. We are able to track opens/bounces etc and can have a look as to why it wasn't received and add/amend emails as needed. I am sorry we are unable to give you any further information as of yet as we are in legals and do not want to compromise that process. As soon as we have news we can share we will be updating all of those in the loan accordingly. Regards Ablrate

And I agree with James, a little patience, the update will come in due course, meantime for my lending at Ablrate it's continue as before, trusting to the patient efforts being made behind the scenes to resolve things for those directly affected and for everyone else who have come to trust Andy and those with him to care for our funds.

Can somebody tell me which loan this refers to please? I am in several aircraft loans but I haven't received any emails about any issues.

I agree with Blender, this could have been handled a little better, in particular for those not in this particular defaulted loan who were left wondering what has happened Thank you James. Ablrate did not need to say much more than that. But it is not just a matter of withholding new info. Once the loan is paused, if you do not have it the loan details and any comments are inaccessible - following one of FC's worst practices, imo. And there is no loan book on which to see the status of loans. The true test of a platform is how it handles such problems, including openness. Yes, I've been frustrated at other times about that inability to get a list of other loans not for sale and in this case it means that their status update is invisible to those not in the loans involved. Still, they are way ahead of the game so far as communication about this goes overall IMO, particularly for first timers at default communications.

Just relax. There is asolutly nothing you can do now. We will see how ablrate will handle the whole situation and there is nothing that could be resolved within hours. So keep calm or ask andy if you wonder whether you missed the mail.

Instead of starting another thread, I though with the header 'Ablrate loan performance?', the following observation would 'neatly' fit this thread... 1000059 is currently three days late with its interest payment. Is there an underlying reason for this anomaly? Just asking.

Late payments are raised in the 'Press the button please' thread, see: p2pindependentforum.com/post/191502/threadA fair few disgruntled clients. Personally, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt given it's only one working day since the payment due date and the next payment is due on Friday - I hope they've all taken off (probably quite literally given their backgrounds!) to somewhere nice! Hmmm... I did consider cashing in at 97% or thereabouts so I can't be that relaxed about it!

Adding to loan 59 at 97 levels seems good to me. first charge and 60% LTV

Interesting that you have, in the past, contemplated a 'minus cash back' proposition...
