Ed,
I suggest you need a open text field on this thing, things, because your specific logic sort of fell apart as I was filling it in.
My interest in an ISA for P2P would be able to move money into a variety of different P2P portals (on daily basis), not Moneything unique BTW. 'Till there is one I'll save my ISA for reducing capital gains tax.
Ta Bobo

Hi Bobo,
Thanks for your comment. You are right that we didn't distinguish between a MoneyThing ISA and generic P2P ISA and perhaps we should have done. I wanted to see what the appetite is from our lenders for an ISA in general.
I think we are too small to offer our own unique ISA anyway and if there is interest from our lenders then our plan is to work with an ISA aggregator.
Kind regards
Sophie

I started filling this in but cancelled as there was no way to explain that as a non resident I am not allowed an ISA investment.

Kind regards Sophie I have similar feelings to Bobo and if MT is to go down the route of using an ISA aggregator, then the issue of admin cost becomes key. I for one would not be amused if the chosen aggregator decided to levy high charges simply because they are handling p2p investment with relatively high interest rates and wanted a slice. An aggregator that use for ISAs in stocks, shares and managed funds for example, charges £5 per month irrespective for the portfolio value plus a per transaction fee. LW

Kind regards Sophie Hi Sophie, Moneything has quickly become my biggest P2P holding and also the one I'm most diversified on, so would probably be the platform I'd most be looking towards if I wanted a p2p ISA. Yes, it would be good to see some other asset classes, but I have a feeling that being too small won't last long. If you could design a way to 'bed and ISA' existing holdings in to an ISA wrapper, I'd say that it would be quite attractive to many.

We will continue with S&S ISAs with no money in IF ISAs, since it suits our tax situation. This rendered the survey somewhat meaningless.
