I'm pretty confused on the relation between the two. Is JustUs is part of eMoneyUnion and existing investors via crowdcube now own the child business? If so, they are trying to raise a further £5.35million it so could end up a great deal.
I tweeted the founder - would be really interesting if he responds with a clear explanation. Not sure if I am allowed to provide the link to the tweet as it would identify the individual CEO.

I thought JustUs is the new rebranded name of eMoneyUnion? But maybe I misunderstood it and the structure is more complicated. The last pitch to raise new funding for Justus on Crowdcube failed (as the target was not reached).

I don't think "rebrand" is the right terminology. Based on my investigations when westonkevRS alerted us to the new brand back in May, JustUs appeared to be being set up as an IF-ISA only brand which I assumed was designed to invest in loans on eMoneyUnion. Hence I'd assumed both emoneyUnion and JustUs are ongoing trading styles of the parent company eMoneyHub Ltd and it would be that parent company that will receive the FCA authorisation. The CEO is continuing to tweet from accounts for both brands. The choice of a .co domain for justus appears misguided for the purpose of uk financial services, as survey after survey reports significantly lower trust ratings in companies that do not operate a .co.uk or .com domain. I had not followed the crowdcube pitch, but background research suggests to me that potential investors in the equity pitch may have been concerned at the lack of clarity of the strategy being adopted here - not least it rather implies putting the cart before the horse - investing in a brand that can not operate without the pre-requiste authorisations from the FCA.

Looks like we do not have a choice and are going to JustUs starting next tax year.

as a lender I would respectfully point out to e-money/justus that I am far less concerned about the branding than the lack of new loans. Whatever you might be called NEW LOANS PLEASE.

I agree this year has been pretty quiet, but Emoney have been ticking over nicely without any real issues, I would much prefer that then them running after some pretty dodgy loans.

I take the point about caution Ben but if I am unable to reinvest returns let alone invest new money it is a bit restriciting. With reference to the JustUs thing does anyone know if our current loans will migarate to the new site or be on a run-down platform. If I have missed some news or thread please point me in that direction.

Just have ot wait and see what they come up, as although I do not have much in at the moment they have had a few decent loans all of which have paid back on time.

So I tried to look at my emu dashboard this morning and I get 'Unable to connect' (Firefox). If I go to http:// rather than https:// it goes straight to JustUs. I am hoping they will let me log in there soon, but I have not received any email.
Anyone know more than me? (not difficult)

if it is any help here is the e-mail from emoney/justus "We are pleased to advise that we have now formally started the full data migration of eMoneyUnion to the new JustUs servers. We completed the full database download on Friday 12th May from our old servers and completed integrity testing yesterday at 11.00 a.m. The tests have gone well and all data is now held at JustUs HQ and backed up securely. Following the first stage of the migration process, which was to cease the completion of new loans, the second stage was to cease secondary loan market trading. We had hoped that the lender dashboard would be kept live following this, but this will not be possible. As a result an eMoneyUnion cut off date was implemented yesterday evening. During the last two weeks, we have carried out a full review for Anti Money Laundering/Know Your Customer of our lender records and activity. As a result of this audit, lenders who have not deposited funds with eMoneyUnion will not be migrated to the JustUs platform. You can however register your interest to become a live JustUs lender at www.JustUs.co We will continue to keep you updated with specific personal communications on JustUs.co functionality for processing; Borrower interest and capital loan repayments Borrower loan redemptions Lender cash withdrawals Lender cash and invested balances We really appreciate your support with this substantial piece of work and we look forward to delivering the fully functioning enhanced JustUs platform" now you know as much as the rest of us

Thanks hendragon, very helpful. I already registered as 'interested' a couple of weeks ago. Now I will email them so hopefully will start receiving stuff.

eMoneyUnion has now rebranded as JustUs and is now redirecting to the JustUs site. Could we rename eMoneyUnion as JustUs now?
