Anyone else waiting for a transfer to arrive. Payment made yesterday not there yet - Bank Holiday backlog?

I sent money on Monday night (so would have left my bank yesterday) and it arrived in my account at about 11 this morning.

They changed their account number recently. Maybe the old number is now inactive and your payments have been bounced back to your bank.

It's been changed for a while, I noticed back in January and when I asked about it, westonkev said: "The bank account numbers are in the process of being changed, and there is a migration plan over the next two months. But the old numbers work and will continue to for some time, so don't worry. There was going to be an announcement shortly, I think tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd Jan), but I agree there could be confusion for older member lenders (like you and me) if the web is already advertising the new one. But for now, you're good for both and so there is no danger of money getting lost.... As long as you type one right!" Maybe the old one has stopped working now, or maybe they just check it less often. For info, the old account number ended with 496, the new one ends with 553.

I'm waiting for two payments (one made late Thursday and another on Friday) to come through. These should both have arrived today. Looks like a possible glitch. Will contact RS if not arrived by 11am tomorrow. Definitely used the correct A/C details.

I've had an email response to my query saying that they have a backlog of deposits and the funds should be in tomorrow.

I must have just been lucky to get mine in quickly. I'll not gloat about the rates I've been getting while you've all been waiting for your funds to arrive hahahahaha It would be a good idea to update the bank details though, just in case the old account does get deactivated in the future.

Well, it has not arrived & RS cannot see any trace in their receiving account. My bank has confirmed it was sent correctly & the sending details which are correct having been used several times before & matching those on my RS account. RS are looking into it. At this point I am relieved it was £100, and not a larger sum, but also disconcerted by the payments system failure. This looks like a potential reason to reduce risk and return to Zopa.

Since I have confirmed payment sent to the correct A/C, and RS has not immediately spotted any unallocated deposits I can only suppose that payment was received and allocated to the wrong account while the system was under pressure. Now even grumpier than usual!

I've just received an email saying a number of deposits are having to be manually entered and mine is one of them. Should be completed by close of business tomorrow. Not particularly delighted as have missed out on some high rates since I made the transfer.
