A loan went live at 1600. The amount available in all loans was shown at the top. The Loan did not show anywhere, not even for a second. Was the bidding so fast that only the most powerful computers could see it?

Was the bidding so fast that only the most powerful computers could see it? :-( There was only a very small amount available as most of the loan was mopped up before live bidding via renewals. What was left was bought within a few seconds I believe!!

It was a renewal so I guess most of it was filled by rolled over funds (I didn't look). It's at the top of the Loans list now, 100% filled, with the last bid at 16:00:22

I think there was £7200 available, with a maximum investment of £100, so presumably 72 people got lucky. That wouldn't have taken long...

I was online, on the money going page. I never have huge sympathy for people who log on twenty minutes after start. I refreshed the page at 1559 when still pending. At 1600 money showing live but nowhere on the actual page It must have gone jo the time it took to shoe the heading. How can you bid on something that does not shoe for even one second?
I guess if did show for a quarter of a second but was taken by the most powerful computers before it showed to the rest of us.
Oh well. I was nog terribly fussed. Better luck next time.

It did appear, briefly though.

It did show up for maybe 30 seconds. I managed to get £100 but by the time I had the purchase confirmed the rest had gone.

Best bet is to open the loan page from the pending list before go live and refresh that rather than wait for it to appear in the live loans page. You'll probably still struggle on renewals tho

Never bother with renewals as go that quick but was suprised this one went so quick. It might be time to look at a smaller amount max bid for each one on renewals.

It's the first I have missed. Once I couldn't get on until 1604 on a very desirable loan. I got that by moments. Someone who logged on at 1609 (I think) missed out.

Ed badly needs to do something - either larger loans or smaller maximum bids.

Maybe smaller limit for first hour or two then larger limit for rest of 24 hours would let more investors get invested. Without having to be on at 4 on the dot as 30 seconds for £7,000 with £100 must mean there was quite a lot of people sat on the dot waiting to invest.

Have to hope to be lucky wednesday too :-0 Brian
