Trading suspended, as LC have "received notification the borrower is looking to settle in full in October"...

Same for E***** C**** LIMITED, full repayment in early October. Do you think that's cause for concern? If I'm still willing to take the 0.5% hit, and the buyer buys with that information to hand, what should be the need to suspend trading?

I've not got any of that other loan, so can't see the details. But in the case of K***b**, they've only got four more payments to go, and the next will take them down to £20k outstanding of the original £80k. So repaying early? Probably not a big problem, even if it'll only save them about £400 of interest.
I think the potential problem is that few buyers would take note of the likely early repayment, then would whinge when buying the loan ends up costing them money.

Errm, why would it cost the buyer money?? I thought the only SM fees were paid by the seller, and it's not like you can buy at a 3% premium, is it?

Well, E***** C**** LIMITED did in fact repay early, saving me that 0.5% kick in the backside out of the door for that one at least.
Managed to sell about 35% off so far, I think the rest may take rather a while longer. Especially the one relating to cockroach infested pizzas, which incidentally is still somehow yet to be in default despite being months late and "with legal agents".

Just read in local paper that E******** C****** has been sold to Go Ahead company. Hence the early repayment.

WTH? After all that it looks like K***b** has just made the normal payment and the SM is re-enabled.... with no updated comments (yet?)

Disabled again so I guess(hope?) they just have a really slow manual process for early repayments..
