Morning,
Following an outage yesterday morning between the hours of 00:07 & 04:43 at our hosting company (which affected all their customers), we have been informed that the ISP is undertaking emergency maintenance this morning from 9am.
These works may affect access to the MoneyThing platform. (At the time of writing, all services are running correctly.)
From our ISP:
"Following on from our network outage that took place yesterday, we are expected to receive emergency planned maintenance to our subsea network that will take place at approximately 09:00. We are not expecting an entire outage at this time. However, as a result of this maintenance, the network will be in a temporarily degraded state where traffic may be affected. We are taking steps to ensure that business customers will take priority over the network at this time.
At present there is no ETA on the maintenance window, however, we will post updates as they occur."
We will continually monitor the service and provide regular updates to lenders.
If we experience disruption later on today, we will postpone the lifting of the bid restrictions by 24hrs. We will notify lenders as early as possible should this course of action be required.
Any updates will be appended to the bottom of this 1st post and therefore should lenders wish to reply/quote on this thread please feel free to do so.
Kind regards,
Ed
UPDATE 14/10/16: From our ISP: "The primary circuit is now actively passing traffic following hardware replacement. The fault conditions is not considered cleared as yet, the service is being monitored for stability and is still considered at risk." (MoneyThing has not been affected since original outage)
UPDATE 17/10/16: From our ISP: "Network services are 'at risk' but no longer considered 'degraded'." (MoneyThing has not been affected since original outage)
UPDATE 17/10/16: Network is no longer at risk. Thread unpinned.
