Very hopeful, confident...err... just awaiting for a response via the solicitors that it is still on track for tomorrow. (Just to note that the borrower on the residential property represents 50% of the ownership of the Hotel & Restaurant.) Regards, Ed.
Is this still on track? .... I just happened to notice that the loan now has a renewal tick box beside it on my holding on the website?
Edit My bad... senility tick box was there.
Thanks
Loans still not been repaid and the renew tick box beside each loan is still active, question is now will they be paid before 4.00pm this afternoon?

Ed, how hopeful / confident are you that the extended Prestbury loan will be repaid tomorrow before the (same) borrower's new loan launches at 4pm? Thanks. (Just to note that the borrower on the residential property represents 50% of the ownership of the Hotel & Restaurant.) Regards, Ed. Hiya MoneyThingNo repayment as of yet and as we are now after business hours I guess not today? Any update? Regards M

I presume we are waiting for the borrower to repay the money as per their contract. If they don't pay by the end of the day then I guess they will be in default.

Morning,
We are giving the borrower until midday today to determine whether the loan will be repaid today. I do have sympathies with the borrower as they have been really messed around by the bank lender.
If in the event that the loan is not going to repay today, the borrower will bring all interest up to date today and we will grant a fixed maximum 1 month extension to allow the borrower time to seek other temporary bridging (or the bank to complete), for which they have two other bridging companies & a private investor who will gladly take this loan on. Lenders will continue to earn interest at 18% during this month.
I will provide an update of the position shortly after midday.
Kind regards,
Ed

Further to my previous post, it looks unlikely that the loan will repay today. The borrower has given the bank a further 24hrs for them to complete, otherwise he has a bridging lender lined up to refinance our loan out within a matter of days. The other bridger has worked with the borrower for a number of years and is already comfortable with the existing valuation report to be able to move immediately on to finalising the legals and complete the refinance in full. As such, I am about to undertake the rollover into the new max. 1 month loans now. Kind regards, Ed

Fortunately it seems I must have ticked some boxes in my sleep . I had a look early this morning and the loans were not on the main loan page but nothing much else had happened. Checked just now and had been rolled into another month's extension, no email though and of course had to look here for the explanation . Thank goodness for the forum and MT tick boxes .

I think your ticks would have been carried over from the previous renewal, as per other recurring MT renewals (CS, etc)

Presume not as it's not mentioned

/mod hat off..
Blimey, some people not only want jam on it, as well as butter, they want jam on BOTH sides of the slice. 8>. I'll be quite happy with the running rate, without expecting to get 30 days' worth regardless (and if anyone is not happy, since they might get paid back at short notice, please flag you intention to sell on the SM, and I'll get my FFF ready).
