Have we talked about this one yet? If not, then Yup, it's another one looking to go south for the winter, and another shot in the ankle of those fervently trying to withdraw.
Well, of course, I might just be being cynical here. Last month's payment was late due to one of those all too common pesky standing order mix-ups. This month, we're 11 days late so far, and the director appears to be continuing his valiant battle against those dastardly forms. I mean, they need to populated with a name, account number, sort code, date - it's a minefield!

Doesn't look good that's for sure.... luckily I only have shrapnel as mine sold a few days before the payment was due!

Would assume he means sold rather than repaid... in which case I probably hate him more

Well, it's now a week since LC relayed the message that the late payment would be received the following day, yet despite it still not arriving there has been no further explanation. Will LC do any more than cross their corporate fingers and hope for the situation to resolve?
It's frustrating that LC seem so laid back about their Defaults - as well as their apparent naivety overall. I originally thought that the big backers were a sign of serious expert involvement with the platform, who would beneficially influence risk and reliability, but this doesn't seem to be the case - unfortunately.

The borrower has answered on Q&A that initial payment was delayed due to bank/SO mistake & latest payment was delayed due to a family bereavement but has now been paid, yet it is still shown as overdue, perhaps just LC not updating display?

LC comment:
"It has therefore been agreed to amend the payment date to 15th of each month to avoid further delays each month. Until we have carried out the necessary amendments we have suspended loan part sales"
Another one follows the recent precedent of delaying payment - I wonder if we'll see extra interest next month in recognition of this? But what is the rationale for suspending the LE - the previous one remained tradeable throughout! It also highlights the need for another status marker for Disabled loans; I suggest SUSPENDED in orange, but don't expect it to happen!
As far as the borrower's comment is concerned, I sympathise in the event of a family bereavement, but how can you be out of work running TWO pubs?!?

[my bolding]
For some reason it took 2 weeks to change the repayment date, but now it's done the LE is still Disabled: maybe they just forgot to reset it - easily done given that it's been listed as LIVE on the Investment List throughout!

so I emailed them to highlight the lack of explanation - and was told they had decided to wait until the next payment.
The cynic in me suspects they are hoping that the next payment will be on time, then they won't have to explain to potential buyers why a loan showing in GREEN on the LE has an ORANGE payment history!

What are the odds this pays on time with its NEW due date tomorrow? - or even this week to earn a Green bar!
or maybe everyone else on here was sensible enough to avoid this dodgy-looking offer - must admit I hoped to flip quickly, (but LC Disabled it before I had the opportunity) although not sure about the morality of that.
