As a potential new investor the lack of activity on this page has me a little concerned. Is eMoney a dead duck ?

As a potential new investor the lack of activity on this page has me a little concerned. Is eMoney a dead duck ? Not at all. It's just that getting invested can take a long time. Just deposit the amount you want to bid per loan, set your autobid options and sit back. It is extremely rare that there is more than 1 bid in a day so check daily and top up as necessary. Sometimes it can be a week or so between new loans. There is a secondary market so you might be able to pick up bits there but I have never used it so can't comment further. If you are looking to invest more than a few K quickly then probably not suitable.

This is a slow burner I have only invested about £5K in this over the year, so not as easy as the other sites but i only need to check it once a week or so and add a bit of money. But at the moment no defaults and most of the loans pay interest and capital back which I personally prefer. Also avering 9.6%.

Can someone explain the different risk grades please. if you look under lend yield and risk rates it states what rate you get for each different type of loan.

It's the risk grades I don't understand. Is A1 the lowest risk ? I've read through the info on the site now so have a better understanding....although I don't think I'll be investing much given you have no idea who you're lending to
