Yesterday I had 2 offers at 6% in 5 yr market. The second started 24000 behind the first and as the day progressed, that gap reduced to 13000 by lunch time. I assume here, some lenders between my 2 offers pulled their money and offered at a lower rate. After lunch, the gap remained static at 13000 except for 3 occasions where the gap dropped to 12900 only to later return to 13000. I am at a loss to explain how money can disappear from the queue only to later be reinserted. Anyone got any thoughts? The longest period that the £100 went awol only to return later was 30 minutes, other periods were in the order of a few minutes. I have pasted my readings below indicating in bold the anomoly's..

So no one had any ideas? Did you contact Ratesetter and get any satisfaction?

I didn't bother contacting RS as I felt sure there was something obvious that I was overlooking and normally readers of these forums have the answer. Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) I'm no longer in the position where I have more than 1 offer ATM as the offers are getting gobbled up too quickly. On Friday when I wanted to verify the situation on a second day, the money had gone within the hour. I'll keep an eye open in future though when I next have more than 1 offer to see if it repeats itself. Probably after the beginning of the month. What seemed most strange to me was that it was for £100 which made it seem like a real offer to me rather than a quirk of the system.
