On FC website it states:

All businesses have been assessed by Funding Circle and we only allow strong, established businesses onto the platform. Every business listed has:
(among other things)

A healthy Experian credit report

No they don't. Just look at the C and C- offerings this week!

I had some exchange with FC about this, and following the usual drivel about "credit report is only part of FC's assessment of a company" I eventually squeezed out an admission that the statement on the webpage was "possibly misleading" they said they would look into rewording it.

They haven't ... so new investors and autobid subscribers, amd maybe the regulator need to take note.

I mean none of those actually had a negative credit rating, did they. Zero maybe (like the dentist), but not really negative. 8>.

The lack of a banana signals an especially grumpy post.
Edit: and now OG has changed his avatar to an empty banana skin. The forum is now a monkey-free-zone with 689 avatar images plus quotes changed. I think that avatar changes should not be retroactive, so that we can choose our avatar to suit our post. And so that important debates about issues such as bananas do not lose their meaning.
