And another borrower crosses the floor from FC to FK, and will pay off their FC loan with the proceeds. What are the factors causing these decisions?

"I'm guessing maybe the potential for more flexibility with Funding Knight" Er … yes. I’d better not say any more, other than I’m not impressed with FK for more than one reason.

I think it is the medieval theme which attracts borrowers - the olden days before the nasty banks were invented, before debtors prisons, when moneylenders were all a necessary evil. I am not sure about the medieval precedent for flexible borrowing.

My principal concern is that no FK loans appear to have any form of tangible asset security (correct me if I’m wrong on that point) and are simply covered by personal / director guarantees which we all know mean sweet FA. Even Funding Circle very occasionally offers secured loans besides the secured property loans. Add to that, a problem when trying to put a loan up for sale which was blamed on the browser I was using, which I personally consider to be a cop out regardless of whether it is FK, FC or any other website. I’m no computer buff but I fail to see why IE, Firefox, Chrome or whatever should make any difference, the IT developers should make sure there are no problems before launch.

The browsers make a big difference; especially standards non-compliant older variants of Internet Explorer. Sometimes things can slip through; especially when it comes to developing the feature-rich websites of today that may not be supported by older browsers.

Thanks for the info Jimbo but the problem referred to happened when using both IE11 and Firefox. As far as I am aware, they are both the latest versions and Firefox is reputedly one of the better browsers available, hence my comment.
