Has anyone else had problems withdrawing funds recently. Had no problems in the past but today I'm just getting an error message saying unable to verify my back account yet its the same details as I've used in the past. More worrying is the fact they are not answering the phone despite being within their published working hours - I've now sent an email just have to wait and see what happens

More worrying is the fact they are not answering the phone despite being within their published working hours - I've now sent an email just have to wait and see what happens We sent out an email explaining why this was implemented and that some banks are not enrolled. In those circumstances we asked that you get in touch with us and we will verify the account. Some accounts, like yours, for example, have already been verified previously and we are working through those accounts and having them inputted manually. This was implemented for convenience (after many had requested it), but more importantly as a security measure. We always have screened accounts, all we have done is make this process automatic, but for some accounts and some banks it will not be verified, as we say on the system: "In order to perform your withdrawal, and for security of your account, we need to be able to verify your bank details. The details you enter will be checked against available data and this will either verify, or not verify your details. If the details are verified, you will be able to continue with your withdrawal, if not, we will have to manually verify your account details. You will only need to input this data once, unless you change bank details." Regards Ablrate

If not get hold of admin@ablrate, call the office or DM me your details and I will sort it./... It definitely should take very long... obviously we do have to verifiy that it is you making the request if it is a first time withdrawal, so if lenders don't call back or get in touch, this can cause a delay.

ablrate, in your e-mail of 28th March, you say "If you have already made a withdrawal, you will already be verified…". I made several withdrawals (to the same account) up until the 13th March, but was told tonight that I need to verify. Did your e-mail mean a withdrawal after the 28th March?

I had a similar experience. They delayed a withdrawal recently saying I needed to verify my bank account, although I had not changed my bank account. So your theory sounds plausible to me.

Thanks for your feedback and email to the office.
As we have said, we are getting to each account which has to be manually inputted. You are able to verify your account automatically if you input the details, however, not all banks are signed up to the system and so some, if not already on our system will need to be verified again. Also, if your details vary from those on the banks record, or you maintain the account from overseas, then it won't bank match.
This system was brought in as another security measure on funds, and while it may be a little bit of a pain initially a simple phone call or email to us will have it sorted if your bank is not signed up to the automated verification system. There have been calls on other threads to have your information stored so 'we don't have to input it every time' and now this has been solved while not compromising security by encrypting bank details so not even we can access them on the platform never mind anyone who gets your password.
