I set up my mobile number on my lender account and turned on PIN security. I was expecting to receive a text message each time I try to log in, but I don't get anything. After entering my password it says: "Your PIN" and then "Password or Reference Code" but I don't receive any text messages.
I can't login to my account anymore - what am I supposed to do other than call Ratesetter?

I requested a PIN when setting my account up some years ago and received my text ok, used it since with no issues so the PIN process worked for me. You need to call Ratesetter and get them to check it out for you.

Or is the PIN a number you created and use each time like an extra password?

A new PIN can be requested.

The PIN is static but a new one can be requested if you want to change it
