Is the interest calculated at midnight? It's calculated based on who holds the loan part at midnight, yes. When the calculation actually takes place is a mystery, but sometime before 9AM near as I can tell (the MT hamsters are faster than some other platforms, or maybe they just have fewer parts to turn the wheel on)..

You are right in that the calculation happens automatically at midnight. The actual 'pressing the button' to credit lender accounts is done by me in the morning when I am online. Whilst this second part could easily be automated, I like to check the calcs each morning to make sure they are correct (not that I don't trust the system ShuangThing!  ). Regards, Ed
