Well you could keep track of the figures on the dashboard, but I'm not sure that includes accrued, or quite what it does with instant returns - I know there used to be some discrepancies anyway tho they might have been fixed. Anyway I always download the history from the account history page and check it in a spreadsheet.

May be there and i have missed it(any pointers welcome ) but a couple of my platforms have an average interest rate across all invested funds so if showing monthly/yearly interest could it also show at what % rate on average.I know i could work it out and have done before but anything to save time would Help

Try calculating how much interest you actually earned in a calendar month ie deducting interest bought on SM against the future payments, a whole world of email harvesting and manual transaction (also necessary to record the premiums/discounts to rec back to cash).

how to search for total interest earned in a month? Log-in -> click 'My Account History' -> click 'Show Search Options' - -> Select 'Interest Repayment' from Types -> Set the required 'From ' and 'To' dates in their respective boxes -> click 'Search' -> total is shown in the 'Balance' column; uppermost if in descending date order (default). Bit of a faff, but doable. (I'm tempted to make a recommendation to have 'LAST 12 MONTHS INTEREST EARNED' section changed to 'CURRENT MONTH INTEREST EARNED' with a hover over pop-up adding details for 'Last Full Month' and 'Year to Date' but ABL have already stated they are in the middle of a redesign so maybe it should wait until after then. Unless ablrate - if generally accepted, you feel it better easier to incorporate before/ during that activity?) Err no cos the balance entries are from the overall account, they don't change if you filter and includes balance from the other entry types, so you still need to sum the contents of the amount column

Last time I looked the 'LAST 12 MONTHS INTEREST EARNED' figure included the interest purchased as well as the interest sold. So it needs work, imo.

I'm just too lazy to check ABL's calculations. I keep a spreadsheet of all deposits & withdrawals and take a screenshot of the dashboard on 1st of each month. Then enter the difference between 'Total funds on Ablrate' and my balance as another deposit, making the balances agree.

My Account history > Print Tax Statement
Override the default dates, and enter start and end of month of interest.

My Account history > Print Tax Statement Override the default dates, and enter start and end of month of interest. What if the lady would like to know her interest earned after the interest she has already paid for on any SM transactions?
