collateral Not only did I get cashback for BL00046, I also received previous cashback's again for BL00026, and BL00043. Sure that's wrong, nice if it wasn't. Sent an e-mail to support, others getting cashback should check.

Yes, same here across two accounts. I will resist the urge to send an Email since this has obviously already happened, I don't want to stress the servers.

Morning,
The process ran for all deals where we have offered cashback this morning, apposed to just the Darwen loan.
We've corrected this now. Where investors have tried to withdraw more than they should have had, the amount will be adjusted to what should have been available and where loan parts have been bought with incorrect available amounts, these will be reversed.
Once all corrections have been made we will process the correct withdrawal amounts.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Gordon

Transactions removed rather than corrected, Ly got absolutely slaughtered for not passing transparent entries. I hope your auditors can see this on the main ledger.

Can't see The FCA allowing this, at all.
But then, if the FCA's asleep at the wheel, after several pink gins ................................................

Gordon I discovered I was involved in a double cashback 'error' by Collateral. But I find the 'remedy' that Collateral used (DELETE the Whole entries, instead of submitting an entry with opposite sign) to be honestly UNACCEPTABLE and to be worse than the original error, both from the accountancy point of view and from the transparency as well. A decent financial company cannot SIMPLY DELETE operations after they where concluded and this is valid both for financial transactions (as the cashback deposit) AND for loan parts buys. Sorry I don't understand how on earth your cheaf financial officer can accept something so wrong within the organisation. I think the FCA should be involved and informed about this wrong doing. It is REALLY a very serious matter. Collateral Rep , will you dignify your investors with a response please? As a 2 decades qualified chartered accountant I would not have accepted this accounting treatment from an audit client. Whilst I appreciate you will keep the transactional trail for auditors, would you kindly offer the same courtesy to your investors. This is the third cock-up on my account and whilst I have never received an explanation (let alone an apology), this is the first time that you have wiped all evidence of your error. Will you please commit going forward to always: 1) provide correcting entries for your mistakes instead of wiping our transactional history (no matter how quick you think you have done it this affects reconciliations); 2) communicate EVERY adjustment to the affected investors by email because not all will be members of this forum. elliottm note - an email may have been sent for the latest error but I was not a recipient.

Morning elliotn, We've taken on board what's been said here, so in the future if any reversals or other amendments need to be made, we will leave a transaction trail in investors accounts. This was a rush job as we needed to correct the error quickly as some investors were trying to withdraw funds etc but I understand what's been said and we will change this in the future. Many thanks, Gordon
