The guarantor has put forward a monthly payment offer, however before we can consider this offer, we need to receive some further information from the guarantor's solicitor regarding the equity position of the property and the interest of the guarantor's ex-wife in the property. We will update investors in 4-6 weeks. "
The above comment appeared recently for a very early loan in FC's history. In no way am I having a dig at FC but its worth noting how protracted the time it takes to try and bring uncooperative borrowers like this to heel. This has been going on since December 2011 (makes me feel older just typing that ). For those that dipped their toes in this loan and I'm one,
looking through the bidders is like a stroll down memory lane..so many familiar 'names'..wonder where they are now
