This is insane - as soon as any PBL056 hits the SM, it's being bought like it's the hottest thing in town ?? Presumably most folks haven't got a clue about the borrower.
Hope this doesn't all end in tears for SS. I suppose if the loan hasn't actually officially defaulted (whatever that may mean exactly) then SS are not dutybound to do anything. But surely they should at the very least put out an email and also do a "recent update" on their site, if only out of sheer decency and/or some sort of moral obligation.

Looks like a transfer between two accounts. Different family accounts etc. How so fast though? I was literally on constant refresh and the figure never changed once Interesting - when you say "constant refresh" how often did your screen actually refresh. Every 5 seconds ? Every 2 seconds ? Or what ? Whatever, I would suspect either switching between accounts or a good bot.

We've just added a new bond to the site - Premier Foods (maker of Ambrosia, Angel Delight, Batchelors Soups, Bisto, Cadbury's cakes, Homepride, Lloyd Grossman, Lyons, Mr. Kipling, Oxo, Paxo and Sharwoods) Senior Secured 6.5% bonds due March 2021. Given that I'm happy to invest to the full term, can anyone say what could go wrong with this. OK they can go very very bust. what else? 1. Premier Foods can go bust (as you have said). 2. Wise Alpha could go bust - not sure what impact this would have on your holding but very messy to say the least.
3. Note that according to the website Yield To Maturity (YTM) is 5.9% , so after fees you would get approx 4.9%. Not a risk in itself as such, but just saying .....
4. If interest rates go up again, then 4.9% will look increasingly unattractive. Who knows - 2021 is 5 years away and a lot can happen.

Mmm , would anyone care to hazard a guess as to what's happening with #104 ??
It seems that someone is putting a figure close to 2k on the SM, and waiting until it's been taken, and then putting another 2k on the SM and waiting until that's been taken too, and then putting another 2k on the SM ..... well you get the picture.
I haven't actually been counting, but at a guess, this must have been repeated about 8 times now ?? Guess its just someone gradually unwinding a large position . Maybe he/she thinks it may disrupt the market if its all bunged on in one tranche.

Well right now there are 15 available loans, and every single one of them is a negative day loan.

I don't think it ".... sorts itself out in a few hours" either. I think its much more likely that some other SS investor (who quite possibly doesn't have a clue about this forum) , encounters the same problem and either phones or emails SS. SS in turn react to this other lender by sorting out the problem - but so far SS have only ever sorted in out on a temporary basis

Anyone know what would happen if I try to sell part of loan PBL128? Their is still is the hidden queue. Would this 'kickstart' the transactions or just mess things up more? Well I sold some PBL128 a couple of days ago without any problem. However I tried to sell some more this morning and encountered "the problem". To be fair, once I phoned SS , they sorted it out promptly. The sale this morning did happen - but it wasn't updating correctly in my account.

Thanks - I phoned SS and they have sorted out the problem for me personally, but I strongly suspect the underlying issue still exists, and that this will keep re-occurring for others until SS get to the bottom of it.

I've made a couple of purchases and two sales this morning. No problem with the purchases, but with the two sales, although they have actually sold, (ie. no longer showing up under "available loans") they are still showing up under my "selling loanparts" tab, and the cash for the sales has not been credited to my "available funds" ?? Just wonder if anyone else is experiencing similar problems with sales this morning Thanks. If one of those is PBL 128 then the problem is noted here, where there is a reported invisible sales queue of £1239 for that loan. Thanks, yes, one of the sales was for indeed for PBL128 , and the other was for PBL095. Unfortunately your link didn't work for me , but I'll have a hack around the forum and see if I can sort this out

That sounds most strange - I've done a small sale this morning without any probs, it all went thru fine. To my mind the fact that you can't cancel it suggests that it may have actually sold, but for some reason the system is not updating your account.
edit) just seen it was PBL128 which should sell easily. Is it worth logging on thru a different browser , just in case that's the problem ?

Live with £120 allocation,£7440 on the SM picked up by our friend s**********m again hi guys, i am new here. how is possible this guy bought 7440£ just after the allocation when each investor got 120£? I assume that after £120 was allocated to each investor , there was a spare £7440 left over which SS dumped on the SM , and s**********m was ready and waiting, and pounced immediately - not for the first time.
