Great news, I am in.
Very straightforward and to be honest for a non UK domiciled person I thought the requirements were ok:
1) A passport verified by my accountant with a date and contact details for them 2) Utility bill the same
Nothing more than I have been asked by Assetz/ LendInvest/ Funding Secure etc.

I have just uploaded my certified passport and also a utility bill.
Says "3 minutes remaining" which I doubt as it is 20.41 on a Saturday evening!

I currently have a decent investment with AC currently earning just under 11% which I am more than happy with.
Recently I have been noticing alot of their loans coming in at 7-8% which is a good few points below what I am happy with. LendInvest who I also had a decent amount in has dropped from 7-8% towards the 6% (although this has changed in the last few weeks and has improved to 7%).
I appreciate that the market is becoming more competitive and that interest rates are at a very low rate at the moment but I am not interested 8% as I can get private insured bonds at 12%.
Is anyone at AC or a member of AC predicting any upturn in the next 12 months?

I had a similar predicament a few months ago. A company offering a whopping 16% return for a 12 month bond. You have questions you need to ask stub8535: 1) Is it secured 2) Is it insured 3) Do you have possession of the invoices if he folds I doubt any of the answers are yes so walk away. Mike

By the end of March I will be 50% out and nothing in the last 3 or 4 months has given me any reason to think the decline is going to stop.
I am more than happy with LendInvest's direction but it has split from my own objectives.

It is dropping considerably and quite quickly which is the surprise.
I think across the board it feels like we have lost 0.25-0.50% on the loans.

Welcome steve1, I am not an expert or advisor but I will give you my two penneth of "noob" advice: 1) Be careful with the number of P2P sites you use, having 10 on the go might be quite time consuming. I have 4 and that takes management with new loans, reinvestments etc. 2) Assess the risk within each P2P site also. For example, I divide my sum down by to 3% per loan, this gives me 33 loans per P2P, some people do 65 loans (1.5%). This spreads risk. 3) Put risk levels on each P2P site. For example, I am for different returns from each platform, 7% target for LendInvest for example. This gives you a benchmark and maybe help you put £5k in a 7% average P2P site and only £3k in a 10% P2P site. Hope this helps, if anyone can add to this and help me at the same time feel free!

I have reduced my investment by 30% since November and I think it might drop another 40% between now and April, I am happy with 6.5%+ on LI but 5.5% and below is just not even worth considering.

Just before Christmas my spreadsheet became corrupted.
It covered every month of every P2P and forecasted investments return for the next 5 years (and previous 18 months). All sorted.
Then, one day, it died.
I felt like I had lost a part of my soul which I could never get back.
I have a new one now, it is not the same as old "Spready" as it only started in December. Maybe, just maybe I will learn to love him as much as Spready. I doubt it though...

My statistics is pretty rusty these days but since we're counting discrete "events" wouldn't we expect a Poisson distribution? Or maybe there's just something fishy going on. Are you here all week!
