Is anyone still making a reasonable rate? Godanubis I'd be interested to know what interest you got on your £100k+ invested? Me? I got the same as I got for the last few months - £0

I still have money "invested" but I've written it off (and hoping that HMRC takes the same view). Persuading someone else to invest so that I can get my money back raises questions I don't want to have to answer.

today's rate of return is down to 7.10%, and only 85% currently invested. Starting to get a little concerned again.

I expect lendy's update is to tell us that they've settled out of court on our behalf, and how much we now owe the borrower.

Logged into Lendy to see this... "Please note, an update concerning the status of the current litigation loans will be published on the private portal by midday, 2nd April, 2019" Where did you see that? The last update I can see is from 23rd January

One thing that puzzles me is that, if the claim is being brought on a no win no fee basis, the claimant's lawyers must think there's a good chance of success. Yet there's also been talk that the claimant is instructing the lawyers to act in a way that's contrary to the lawyers advice. All seems very odd.

I may have missed something within the 131 pages, but why from 22 March? I thought it was at any point up until 1 Apr. From 21st March, due to Judge's order regarding the "stay". I missed that too. I was thinking she's leaving it a bit late.

For b) I believe that legally the borrower has borrowed from the platform not you directly so you may not have a claim legally but I am not sure. It depends on the platform t&c's but in the case of FS they act as our agent. There is in fact established case law (which I can't link to as it might identify a certain London Loan on a different platform) which details how the borrower can sue some 5000 lenders in a pacific loan bypassing the agent. No reason why this couldn't work in reverse although I suspect would take a lot of legal effort which wouldn't be worth it.
(deliberate easter egg in there before you ask)
I asked for legal advice regarding that London loan from an insurer which included a "24 hour legal advice helpline" with their policy. They said "You need to get legal advice". Really helpful!

Sadly I feel the writing is on the wall and we have known this for a long time. It’s sad that no one at lendy will actually make an e mail statement to all of the investors with regards this very damaging article. All I can hope is the end result is more swift and efficient than the collateral situation. On a more positive note, maybe an FCA enforcer is standing over them with a whip and they don't dare stop working on recovery to say anything to us. Yeh, that'll be it
