I have looked and am maybe looking straight past it, but how are people seeing who is buying what and how much? "Investor Activity" tab on each loan (shows last 10 purchases) Doh! I shall put myself in the corner, wearing a dunces cap. Thanks.

Not sure if anyone noticed but one punter seems to have bought £4000 subject to availability of every loan including the negative day ones, which overall is a decent chuck of cash.
Good to see more money coming into the site. I have looked and am maybe looking straight past it, but how are people seeing who is buying what and how much?

Not sure whether someone is simply selling at 100 days, or if it isn't sign of a member digging deep to covet purchased, but saw a loan this morning that I hadn't seen before..... PBL 006. The Peterborough loan is very hard to catch as if literally skims the sm before going on its way, but 006 is one I have never seen glimpsed. It's been in the "live loans" section for a long time Yep. I mean as in able to grab it. Some loan parts are slippery little devils.

Also ( and it is why you have to read the particulars on these older loans... ) the LTV for PBL006 is actually 60% (it's a second charge). Thanks. I do have a good look, but have learned in a very short time on here to look very closely and not be seduced simply by supposed ltv and/or remaining time.

didn't used to be rare, had a partial r,epayment and extension a couple of months back, so a small loan with a very low LTV (15%) so, for many here one not to let go of in a hurry. Also worth noting is that it's on the old T&C's. HTH Brian Thanks Brian. I am going to gen up on the various t&cs. This certainly is a most useful site.

I definitely did not want Luton, but aimed to pick up the other two on the SM. Oops.

Made a withdrawal on Friday late morning. I have not received it, so assume it missed the Friday one. I will chase it if not on my bank account by mid morning on Monday.

I thought the sm was becoming a lot more liquid this morning. Has become sluggish again. Maybe because of the announcement of the loans tomorrow and the 'big' one due next week.

What's that sound? Splish, splosh. It's the sound of the SM liquid again.
EDIT
Well it was for a few hours.

I just casually glanced at the SM and was pleased to see this:
115 £327 available 112 £ 25 available 100 £ 00.47 available 082 £300 available 051 £400 available
OK, I know there are other loans in the thousands, tens of thousands and in a couple of cases hundreds of thousands of pounds, but it is nice to see these lower amounts again.

Over £3m on the SM now, and I'm sure some panic has yet to hit the fan, but that's still not bad considering the influx of new borrowing. Just one of the expected repayments could clear that, and there are actually several which are supposed to be repaying last week. Hopefully we'll get a proper update tomorrow. Meantime the 'SM is there for the benefit of lenders wanting out, and it is working very well for that purpose' (I paraphrase) needs some rewording. But then, there has been plenty of comment here to the effect that you shouldn't invest what you can't do without for some unknown period of time (worst case 'forever'). Liquidity is one of those things which is never to be found when everyone most wants it. In your opinion, what proportion of sellers don't realise their investments are earning no interest once they offer them for sale? I'm holding my hand up and looking shame faced. I had some for sale over night and suddenly realised I had lost interest.

Slowmo is slow motion. You'll have to look back to the context to work out what was meant in this particular instance - it might be a reference to the sometimes sluggish (contextually relevant alliteration accidental) web site. thanks am thats made things a bit clearer. except for ... Just had a quick check, if 35 repays, all this SM could vanish in a matter of hours. Guess when 35 will repay? Not last week (as the last update said).... Ooh, we could have a pool. The closest to time and date wins......
