Hmmm... l don't think l will be tempted either. I rather invest my pennies on the odd bits and bobs from the sm.

How does the cashback thing work. So if l invest £100 , l get £1 returned to my account as soon as the loan is 100% occupied?

Yea l think l end up getting 2 /3 loans totalling around £20 or something like that. Upped my auto loan limits to £1000,£1000,£40 Think it made a very small difference, nevertheless its better than before. What are people setting their auto loan limits to ? I'm the last of the big hitters so my auto loan limits are £60 x 3 Am slowly increasing them as I get familiar with UB and more comfortable with the platform and how it works. I'l never be at the £1000 mark regardless of likelihood of UB giving you a loan chunk of that amount. My P2P levels on other platforms are nowhere near four figures per loan and never will be. To be honest, l've had it at 250,250,50 for most of the time since they changed the auto lending system a few months ago . The max l usually get at that setting is £5 per loan and the odd higher amount for bespoke business loans which l'm not that keen on. Even setting it now at £1k the most l get for the provision/gold trust loans is a few pounds higher. Not sure how effective putting the auto lend settings higher makes to amount lent out.

I disagree. I have managed to get nearly £20000 dripped in over the last 9 months so perfect ISA territory. Could really do with the tax relief. This could be possible during your first year of investment. The problem is with year two and later where repaid loans tend to keep pace with (or even overtake) new loans. I would be very surprised if you managed the same in your second year unless you started taking big chunks of the unprotected loans. How can u get £16 in average loans. My loans are typically around £5 and not more than 3 or 4 max a day even including bespoke business loans. My personal settings are at '£250' '£250' and '£50' for the auto lend. Any advice would be helpful. I doubt l can even get more than £5k or 6k per year in unbolted.

Most days l can only get £15 invested in new loans, more or less averages out 3 loans of £5 = £15. Thats on a good day.
I don't believe a isa is realistic.

Hi all, been away from unbolted for 6 or 7 months now. Just made a deposit and getting back into some bling.
I was wondering is unbolted fully automated now? l seem to remember there were manual loans that we could log in to invest at £25/£50 sometimes more depending on size of loan.
Any opinions is appreciated.

MoneyThing may I make a couple of suggestions: a) You say on the loan details "The individuals behind this company are experienced property developers and investors who have developed out numerous projects around the UK. " Perhaps you could encourage them to prepare a "Professional Portfolio" document highlighting a selection of these numerous projects. b) Perhaps you could negotiate some additional "makeweight" security, e.g. 2nd charges on their residential homes. I think my overiding concern is that if after purchasing the property the borrowers were to decide that there is actually no profit margin (or worse a guaranteed loss) on this project they might choose to simply walk away given that they have relatively little "skin in the game" (10% of purchase price + costs). Very well written point a + b, can't agree enough.
