I felt compelled to look at Trustpilot today on the off chance that some fresh abuse had appeared since I last looked ages ago. As it happened someone had posted about this fund raising activity. I have very little money in there but I'm on a losing streak at the moment, so I figured a few more quid at risk would make no difference. Before Xmas I was persuaded to treat some family members to a holiday in Singapore and stumped up for the non returnable flight fares. Now they don't want to risk going.

I was under the impression, gained from reading about other similar builds, that design features and standards for this kind of student housing are not regarded as meeting those for normal full time living accommodation. The outcome seemed to be that it was a struggle to find something affordable that could be done to re-purpose them as demand fell.

I have no doubt that in years to come the 2 words " Lendy Wealth" will be held to be a classic example of a pure contradiction in terms. A classic oxymoron - comparable with military intelligence and honest politician? I suppose it depends on the interpretation. Funds transferred from lenders to Lendy were presumably Lendy Wealth before morphing into someone else's irretrievable wealth.

Wonder why we are stuck with Administrators when a pickaxe handle and a pitbull would be more effective. Because believing in, and adhering to, the law is the right thing to do? Considering another topical matter, evidence suggests that my member of parliament would disagree with you.

Yeah, it was Lendy. I ignored it and didn't respond because I suspected that this devious shower were just trying to set things up so that they could wash their hands of criticism because their self styled sophisticated investors should have known better than to believe a word they'd been told. Claiming gullibility could imply a greater responsibility on their part, not that they would care either way.

I haven't followed much in the line of Lendy recently because I doubt I'll see any health or wealth benefit arising from getting myself agitated about things. Today out of curiosity I wondered if anyone was still posting on Trustpilot. Nothing made much sense. The Malaika recovery scammers are still at it and someone is making accusations about something called Lendy Action Group. I have no idea whether or not it is a swipe at the one being presented here. Maybe someone would like to check and see if they are offended and would like it taking down. Cheers!

So I guess the point of this thread is, can we now leave negative Trustpilot reviews without them being pulled down? I haven't tried. There are plenty of reviews on there that I would expect to have been purged under Lendy's 'normal circumstances'. I imagine that having someone delete them now would be almost as pointless as adding a few new ones. I say almost because I'm sure some might get a sense of pleasure from saying 'Told you so!" to any late investors who managed to catch the warnings before they were deleted, but ignored them.

I haven't received anything beyond the one originating from Lendy providing the pdf file download link. Who was this recent update sent by? Thanks.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but Captain Schettino did get a sixteen year jail sentence. Stay positive eh?

Here we are another day and something else to be grateful for. I haven't got a penny in Woodford Equity Income Fund and the sun has just started breaking through brightening up the morning.

Or they could just leave it alone and warn punters that their capital may be at risk. Surely that captures everything perfectly, has no complexity for anyone to need advice over and leaves nothing for anyone to complain about when things go pear shaped.

This whole thing will take 3-5 years to unwind, alot of the investors might not be alive by the time it come to a end. Not sure what is there to be positive about. Dunno, I'll be 76 later this year if I last but may not be alive when the whole thing becomes 'unwound' as you say. Being dead when it does could be positive as there would be no disappointment at how little was being returned after so many years of waiting. Everything can be positive if one is cynical enough to see it.

Now that Lendy have been confirmed as the devastatingly high risk company that reviewers had been regularly obstructed from exposing on Trustpilot, we can at least take some comfort in that blocked and fake reviews can't help to sucker anyone else in.

But I can't see what good it does them to have a pretend vote Meaningless votes are common. Sometimes the outcome goes the way the organiser wants it to, they are happy and then all responsibility is released from them. If it goes the other way, just come up with some way to prevent it really happening. Well I suppose I could believe that sort of thing taking place in a Banana Republic, but it couldn't be allowed to happen in this country.
