I was looking at roughly how far the loans had filled with the limit that was in place. PL00006 was something like 31% full after pre-funding (£50) and around 62% after bidding (£100 limit) had been underway for a couple of hours. I didn't check right up until the bid limit was lifted. Based on how full it was with £100 bid limit, a £150 bid limit would likely have taken it to 90-95% full. £50k divided by £150 is 333. I picked 325 as an approximate number and you might use 350 for a 12% as it might attract more investors. I think the figures for PL00005 were similar.

collateral can you confirm that you will consider a second higher bid limit on these types of loans? If it is £50 for the first three hours, maybe do a second three hours at 150/200. I would have thought it sensible to set the initial bid limits (for any loan) at a level that gets the loan just about fully funded before releasing the remainder to FFF. Everyone gets a chance to get a fair share of the loan, everyone gets a chance to read any documentation before bidding and no one needs to be putting everything else on hold at a particular time of day. Once the pre-fund for PL00006 had been open for a time at £50 it was clear that would get the loan to about 30% funded. If the bid limit had then been amended to £150 allowing investors an extra £100 when bidding went live, the loan would have likely filled to a little over 90% and FFF could have fought over the remainder. Looking at the last two jewellery loans, dividing the total loan amount by 325 gets you to a bid limit that would just about fill the loan before bid limits are lifted.

Any chance of an increased bid limit on this tomorrow? It's less than 25% full as I post. The current limit appears too low and it looks likely that a large amount will be available for a small number of investors to snap up large chunks when the bid limit ends. A larger bid limit tomorrow (£100/£150?) will likely give a more equitable share. Ps Can someone tag Collateral Rep for me? Can't see how to do it. pps thanks dan1

Spent so long messing about with Verified by Visa that I missed it. At least the IFISA is flexible. My Tesco card must be the only one that makes me jump through hoops.

I voted no despite being in the loan. I'm not comfortable with terms and conditions being changed 'after the fact'.
And I'd rather not have premiums/discounts. I much prefer the simplicity of trading at par.

Strange that this was selling this morning just before default. It's a loan that is very rarely on the sm. Yep quite a lot of transactions today,I wonder if some people knew about the pending default I received capital and interest repayments into my account and then a new purchase for the full amount of my investment. Think this was done to end the previous loan and renew upon default. Are those 'purchases' what you are seeing?

Collateral (COL) in Liquidation
Memorable Word

Anyone else getting regular (>75% of attempts) invalid entries when inputting characters from their memorable word?
I've noticed that the vast majority of 1st attempts to input characters from my memorable word are failing. It's happening far more often on my desktop (using chrome), than my mobile (also using chrome). It was happening so often that I've been entering my memorable word extremely carefully so that I'm certain it's correct but receive the invalid attempt warning most times. Second attempt always works.

The bid limit lasts until 13:00. It expect it will be gone by 13:30 at the latest. I think it is fair to say that there is demand for 10% bling! MORE Bling please!

Pledged Loan Agreement vs Buy Back Agreement.
Noticed the new loan has a PL prefix rather than the more common BB prefix. Presumably there have been 4 previous Pledged Loan Agreements. What's the difference?

I think we have to be realistic in our interest expectations for bling. It is a competitive market for borrowers and I doubt many will wish to pay a higher rate of interest than they need.
I fully appreciate that many will not wish to lend for less than the previous Collateral rate of 12%, but some will be prepared to accept a lower rate if the risk is commensurate. This new loan will be a good test of the demand. The bid limit lasts until 13:00. It expect it will be gone by 13:30 at the latest.

Lots of goodies currently available! Shhhhh... I'm waiting for a deposit to be credited Edit: within a minute of this post my deposit was credited - not bad for 22:41 That's very good. The few times I've deposited after 6pm it's taken hours to be credited. Wasn't all bad. A decent chunk of a Tranche 7 of P****** restaurants was hidden amongst the mass of available loans. I put up what I had of tranches 4,5 and 6 which sold quickly enough for me to put the proceeds in tranche 7. Happy to swap shorter dated loans for longer.

I guess this truly can be described as peer to peer lending

Im in the car loans but never saw the ? symbol on the loan descriptions.
The first loan repayed fairly quickly so I possibly didn't notice and the others are not overdue.
