In other news, the TVR has just been defaulted, anyone wanna buy a TVR for circa £6,500? Good news regarding the TVR, a fresh update just landed Auction sale completed - loan fully repaid, including all interest to-date.

bently bentayga on fs earlier today, a 1 yr old bentayga can be worth about £170k so seems odd that there are no valuations attached to the fs posting. loan is for about £170k......! The current loan is for 154k. The previous loan was for 160k, the difference is "to reflect the fact that it is 3 months old" (quoting FS website).

This one was one of my favourite loans in my FS portfolio but somehow has been already repaid today!

All the loans at 11am (silver coins, silverware, diamond earrings and collection of rings) have been fully funded within 1 and a half minutes ...

thanks, this is for a new loan. a collection of rings going live tomorrow I can't see that one either. I have double checked the email and it says it's going live on Friday 11 May 2017 at 11am So my guess is the system is filtering that one out automatically because of the wrong inserted date (11th is today while Friday is the 12th). Maybe fundingsecure can help with this one

Renewal loans don't appear in the "Investment opportunities coming soon" table at all. They will appear in the "Loans needing investment" table directly when they go live.

I regard this as very bad news. It will substantially reduce the money I was planning to invest on the platform. It's important to me to know that I can sell out at short notice if I want to (this is the attraction of FS over other platforms such as Ly where I am running down my investment) - limiting the discount to 1% does not give me that comfort at all. When I started investing in FS a few weeks ago there were many loans where the market was at 1.25% discount and some were at 1.5%. Capping at 1% discount just means that the loans which go to the top of the list if the market is at 1% discount are those which were bought last (as these have the highest effective rate - so don't buy when a loan is listed - wait till its 90%+ funded!) FS has not offered a satisfactory explanation for what looks to me like a very bad move. In the last week everything with discount at 0.5%+ has gone within minutes so I believe 1% is more than enough at the moment.

And the hoovering up of discounted parts continues apace.... (snapshot as of 19.50) 13%+ £489k 14%+ £259k 15%+ £97k 16%+ £0k Best available discounts now down to -0.3% / -0.4% as the SM continues to drain 13%+ £316k 14%+ £88k 15%+ £12k 16%+ £0 I have managed to get 2 loans discounted at 1.0% and 0.9% respectively yesterday but all the parts have gone pretty quickly.

A loan goes live and the site is down again fundingsecure not good Agree (unfortunately)! You know you expect a peak in traffic at 11am so the IT infrastructure should be able to support this otherwise what's the point of telling everyone what time the launch will happen.

Before anyone gets led astray, the first strategy listed only really makes any sense for non-taxpayers and company lenders (that can offset accrued interest purchased against interest ultimately paid) Hi. I see your post was from Nov 2016 so well before the launch of the IFISA on FS, but am I right to say the 1st strategy now makes sense for IFISA investors too? The main limit of buying on the SM is the tax liability on all interest paid when the loan completes but this shouldn't be a problem when buying within the ISA. (Yes, I'm still a bit confused about the SM-IFISA combo)

Hi. I have invested in 7 of their p2p loans and got capital + interest back from 3 of them already. Communication can be a bit slow at times but overall I'm quite happy with them so far.
