One wonders when the sellers will realise and cancel the sales....frankly I think Lendy should automatically cancel them as soon as they become ineligible. Although, if the borrower extends the loan, and the SM becomes active once more, they may still hold their position in the queue? (Assuming they still want to sell following an extension.) I think the email regarding the changes stated that purchasing parts in defaulted loans would be suspended temporarily? Can't find the email but that's how I remember it.

I'm in the same boat. If I was asked for address verification I too would struggle to suply it. You need a Bank Account to set up an LY A/C, so that is your proof (a bank statement) I can remember having a lot of hastle with a visa application a couple of years ago because my online bank statement did not include my address. Just checked and it does now, I may also be getting confused and it may have needed the address of the bank which is not there. Still reducing my investments on Lendy though.

Why was the account not verified before his money was accepted? It seems very unfair to take his money and then not give him it back. One more reason to reduce my investments on Lendy even further. That's the daftest reason I ever saw, but go ahead. I'm in the same boat. If I was asked for address verification I too would struggle to suply it.

Hi vic If you contact verification@lendy.co.uk with the information we need we can get this sorted for you. If the information does not comply then we will not be able to process it. Specifically we require proof of identify and address (1. A valid form of photo ID (such as a passport or photo driver's license) and 2. A proof of address, such as a bank statement (Bank, Building Society or Credit Union statement or passbook dated within the last three months) or utility bill (gas, electric, satellite television, landline phone bill) issued within the last three months). Lendy Support Why was the account not verified before his money was accepted? It seems very unfair to take his money and then not give him it back. One more reason to reduce my investments on Lendy even further.

Site is now back up but still only 41.5% repaid.
Interest payment seems a bit strange. I calculate that if they have paid 6 days interest it is at 26.5% and if they have paid 7 days interest it works out at 22.7%.
Is it just me or are other people getting the same figures?

We are not rushing to judgement on this loan. There are advisers involved that need to be given the opportunity to answer questions that have been put to them. This is all I can say until we have the facts and I am afraid we won't be commenting until we have had those answers.
I take it from this comment that the repayment is not as straight forward as it should be??

Let's hope the project can continue! That's my concern. I would assume that the funding was guaranteed by lendy and if said funding is not forthcoming then I would presume there would be grounds for legal action ny the contractor which could put the whole platform at risk? Or maybe I'm presuming too much.

I'm a little confused. Has the latest tranche gone live or has it been removed from the pipeline??

I requested a withdrawal on Saturday and the money still hasn't arrived in my account. Is this normal or should I be contacting Lendy to see where it is?

Can someone tell me if interest stops accruing when a loan part is put up for sale or when it is actually sold?
