Plymouth 2 repaid. Is this a prelude to default? No, Plymouth2 hasn't repaid. There was some temporary (panic) availability of about £40k iirc but was quickly bought off. Edit. SM now nearly back to zero. Yes I see that now. I deleted my post at the same time as you replied to it....

I assume this is going to pay back very soon - given there is 1 day to run and it is fully funded on Collateral. Providing COL don't find a problem before draw down one would expect repayment to be imminent.

I was out of this but the 1% cashback and the quality of the equity means IMO that unless something unexpected happens like a black swan that it will repay so I will be funding the last tranche, Hmmmm......If I was suspicious, I would think that 1stwaz is one of the peeps caught up in the £300k backlog?? I suspect the £300k backlog may be significantly larger after cashback is paid

Lendy (L) in Administration
Scarily Quiet
Nov 21, 2017 2:08:37 GMT
Post by southport on Nov 21, 2017 2:08:37 GMT
Is there anybody there.........? I think for the first time in my 3 years of lending/donating/sponsoring/giving via SS/Lendy, & 2 years of reading this forum, this is the first time I can recall there having been no posts on the SS/Lendy platform for well over 24 hours, scary. Am I the only SS/L investor left, or do the weekly fact sheets now answer all possible Q's ...........? Maybe DD central is where all the action is. Perhaps one of the members could let us know if it is just as quiet over there?

Collateral (COL) in Liquidation
Memorable Word

I get a failed attempt or two most times. I'm using Firefox on a couple of PCs and it's the same on either. I'm using outdated Firefox version on a very outdated OS, but never had problem with memorable word or any aspect of logging in. I'm using Firefox (updated regularly) on windows 10 (updated regularly) and I've never had any problems logging in. I also eat my cookies each time I close my browser, could it be a cookie problem?

Not so good for those who go to work, however. Good point. Different investors have different timescales depending on their jobs, other commitments and locations. It could be good if Ablrate established a standard loan release policy that suits most. I think 24 hour gap between posting documents and loan going live would probably satisfy majority of investors? I agree wholeheartedly, seems to work very well at MT.

2pm, much better when we are given reading time for a new borrower will it be a morning/afternoon split ie within the working day ablrate ? Will accommodate overseas investors and those that prefer to spend their time with families in the evening Not so good for those who go to work, however. Every other platform, which I have experience of, release their loans during working hours and I can't remember anyone complaining about it? Maybe most people have have smart phones or something similar whereby they can access the web wherever they are? Just a thought......

There's 46k of this loan on the SM this morning. Is this just because it has gone past 200 days remaining or do the members of DD Central know something I don't?

ablrate 8pm will be an interesting test of the bid limits for those unavailable at go live in different time zones. 8pm inthe UK is 3am in my neck of the woods. Looks like I'll have problems investing from now on and just opened an IFISA last week to boot... :-(

Fair points. But sometimes (ii) is only true at the start - initially it seems too big, but once it's filled, people then believe that they'll be able to sell it if they need to, so they're happy to buy it if someone tries to sell. This is not the case with the Darwen loan on COL. There is always plenty of this loan available and it sells very very slowly.

Has anyone heard anything more about this? Especially interested in when ISA transfers in are available, I've a chunk of previous year ISAs that needs a better return! Ablrate do an IFISA if you need one this year.

This was my first defaulted loan on any P2P platform. I hope all future defaults have a similar outcome.
