Hello Andy. I'm glad to hear that you do accept their is a problem with presentation here and that it's a priority for you. It should be. You're not exactly coming across like a Nigerian scammer but it is simply not reassuring to see this sloppy use of English, though better than my English which seems to have become the subject ;-)
I very much take Andy's point about moving on, but I cannot let 'their is a problem' go unnoticed. I never pretended my English was perfect, and the subject is not me. If you want to play grammar and language Nazi with fellow board members then there are numerous forums where you can go and play this very childish game to your hearts content.

hi xyon100 . Thanks for the comment and yes - we are currently going through droves of our standard e-mails and improving the quality of the content, which certainly have room for improvement. There is a fairly substantial change due in the next few weeks and the issue that you have raised is one that is at the top of our priorities. In terms of our DD processes, I can only assure you that they are exceptionally thorough from start to finish and looked over not only by us but by a swarm of lawyers and industry experts. I seriously doubt that any P2B lender gets anywhere near the quantity and quality of DD that we undertake on each of our aircraft transactions as the bill generally runs into six figures and tens of documents. If you have any issues then do feel free to DM either myself or ablrate and we will come straight back to you. Hello Andy. I'm glad to hear that you do accept their is a problem with presentation here and that it's a priority for you. It should be. You're not exactly coming across like a Nigerian scammer but it is simply not reassuring to see this sloppy use of English, though better than my English which seems to have become the subject ;-)

'Why is I am seeing so many mistakes'? Lucky you don't work for yourself xyon , you would have a terrible conundrum. Then there is all that suspect punctuation such as commas. I have changed two to red for discussion purposes. Let's not begin to point out errant apostrophes, especially when trying to write about crossing tee's and dotting eye's! ""I have changed two to red for discussion purposes.""
The discussion was Ablrate and what appears to be sloppiness in the business, not me. If you want to play the language and grammar Nazi with fellow posters then there are numerous outlets for your immaturity. By the way, you are more than welcome to join the P2P forums here in Belgium. Well, if you could manage to understand a singe word.

The comment about me being in business.....I am, have been for 35 years. That business is based in Belgium and functions in three languages. Everything that goes out to customers is written by one person and then proof read by a mother tongue speaker of that language. If you want to pick holes in the use of language, I suggest you don't bother with my sloppy forum posts and pay more attention to your business partners. When I see glaring mistakes like that, I wonder what else can go unnoticed.

I'm somebody who was (and perhaps is) considering investing but one thing really bothers me. I expect these legal contracts to be gone over with a fine toothed comb, all I's dotted and T's crossed. Why is I am seeing so many mistakes in English on the site? And now I have my welcome email.
""We are very pleased to welcome you to our community, whether you wish to invest, borrower funds or work with us as an intermediary we are looking forward to being of service.""
Guys, this is sloppy and not reassuring at all. Unless my English is off, the "borrower" is out of place. The welcome email is only a few lines, how much care do you take with legal contracts for Millions?
I hate to be a moaner but if I was a shareholder I would be firing the person who is responsible for that welcome mail.

I have also asked Belgian friends to look at the site, it won't load. I do hope this gets the full attention of the SS team on Monday morning or my wife (who freaked when I told her the site where I sent kids inheritance to was no longer responding) might well be on the phone on Monday morning. They really don't want that.....Nobody wants that!

When this question was posted, only 5 months back, those returning Euro would have bought about 80P.
Today they will buy you nearer 70P.
I reckon most UK investors in Bondora have lost money in the last year.
Unless you fall back on the standby of it's not a loss until you sell it I suppose.

I have to admit that all this spreadsheet business is a little beyond me. I'm not at all happy with the way Bondora presents the figures I need, nor am I happy with the way the automation works and manual investments become extremely time consuming, as does working the secondary market. I made a 2000 Euro investment just to get the feel of things, and I don't like the feel of things! I'll leave the money there but won't be micromanaging it or adding to my holding.

Thanks, but you may as well be speaking Japanese. No idea how to do that. The other half who knows about these things says she will do something really clever to get around this on her return from Prague, but I think SS really need to get this sorted ASAP for dumb folk like me who cannot access a site where we sent a whole load of readies. I have tried different machines, operating systems and browsers, but I suspect Belgium has been cut off. Please get it sorted SS, it's not acceptable at all.

Xyon100. Are you able to get on other sites ok? Absolutely.

I have not been able to access for a couple of days. I am abroad and have tried IE and Chrome without success. Same boat here. It's still not accessible this morning for me. SS were quick to respond to my mail (brownie points awarded) and say they have had some issues with Russian IP addresses. Well this is just little old Belgium and I have never had connection issues before. I have tried multiple machines, operating system and internet providers and I still get "this page cannot be displayed".

Well, now tried on two different machines from two different locations on two different browsers. Still no joy. "Fix connection problems" tells me the site is online but not responding. Going to leave it for now and will check again in the morning.
Best Xyon100.

Browser? No idea! I got to go out, but will look again later and let you know if I discovered the cause. Thanks again for the reassurance.
By the way, nice to see the boards seems to have some life to it, great! Catch you all later.
