I am not in this loan but I have been watching some of the hysteria with interest. However I would like to say that having once employed a firm of so called specialists in thier field solicitors on a monthly basis I would strongly advise people to give it carefull thought if the HCR offering is really for them, this case could drag on for ages and work out very expensive, it's certainly not a way I would employ a solicitors again.
Fully agree with you scraggs. Years ago I also had a similar experience to yours, hence have not signed up yet. Anyone contemplating signing up with HCR, you should obtain in writing that they prepared to release you from the Letter of Engagement, at your discretion, and with no further cost/liability to yourselves, with you giving 30 days notice to HCR. In the New Year, I will continue a discussion with another well known Board member in this forum, as we might be forming a group to exchange useful info and to represent ourselves in Court. More info to follow in the New Year. Stay tuned. Forming a group would be a much better idea IMO

Fair enough... bid limit set a little too high in this instance. GSV3MIaC - what would you suggest by way of a bid limit for the next loan (£135k Aventador), with a 24hr limit? Regards, Ed In Edit - big choccy bar if you can get it to a position where the loan is between 90% and <100% filled at 23:59 hrs from launch. Personaly I think the bid limit was fine. I got a slice of this one, but there have been others that I haven't because I couldn't get to a PC, it's swings and roundabouts.

For me it's withdraw funds. Between MT and LY I have lost a decent lump. I no longer have trust in the valuations and the way defaults are managed. I had always been a keen supporter of MT but I stick by what I have said before, they should have stuck to what they were good at, which was car and pawn type loans.

Not one I shall be touching. I would imagine as with most valuations this one can be taken with a pinch of salt. No trust left for me.

Heather "The service from all the guys and girls at Lendy has been excellent. Lendy, thank you so much for your help. You have given us competeand I will be recommending you to our friends. "
Michael "I have recommended my friends to invest. "
Sadly I fear both Heather and Michaels friends list is going to be a lot shorter next year.

Once the sale has completed, Lendy will proceed with the claims to recover the balance of investors' capital, accrued interest and bonus accrual by claims which our legal advice suggests have a good prospect of success.
The prospects to recover the balance of investors' capital are described as good, is this based on anything tangible or just the standard text for all partial repayments ?
I would imagine going by Lendy's performance we stand more chance of flying to the moon on a pencil than seeing anything else back on this. I now take what Lendy says with a pinch of salt.

For those of a nervous disposition, the best way to access the TrustPilot reviews is to access them via the LY facebook page. It is craftily set up so as to filter out all reviews of less than 4 stars-
That really is pretty deceptive of them. I will be reporting that to the ASA to see if they can do anything about it.

I would really like an explanation as to why Lendy went with an agent charging 3.7% Let alone the other charges. But then I would like a lot of explanations from Lendy but won't get bugger all. TBH I am glad I have something back and it's another one that gets me further away from this shower of sh;te.

If the sale price is correct then some answers will be needed to several questions, in the great scheme of things this property was actually on the market for a very short space of time, and the valuation like virtually every loan on P2P is so far out it would be a joke if it wasn't for the fact lots of people have lost a lot of money. Probably be best if MT stick to what they know best and it certainly isn't property.

I'm sick of being taken for an idiot by P2P platforms Lendy being one of them. Lendy an explanation as to what happened to the £2Million offer would be a start, let alone how far this valuation is out. or do you intend to keep people like mushrooms for ever ? Yet another large loss, by people who I now wouldn't trust or call competent enough to sell my kids dolls house.

I am starting to smell a rat with the valuations and what these developments are actually selling for. What with Lendy's PBL167 in the last few days.

It's also good to see Lendy engaging on this forum again Indeed Even if it is to blow smoke up their own @rse

I'm for keeping things the way they are, just sort the site speed issues out. Pre funding like SS have on loans the size MT have will mean some loans loans won't be worth logging in for the return.

I just tried to get some of what was left at 4.50 and the site was painfully slow, it really needs sorting out.
