There woz, and I got one! Admittedly they are a bit larger than I prefer. Now back on SM at -1.

I have now!
Edit: -just realised that this was the one that was listed with ambiguous details: cashback symbol, but no text stating cashback on the written details. Looks like the relevant field on some database page has not received the required tick.

17849 drew down earlier. Is anyone else missing their cash back on their statement?

Suspicious. It would do no harm to inform FC.

ReBS now buy a chunk of each loan (then promptly sell it on the SM).

The Bid page shows a 1% cashback banner even though the 'Loan requests' summary doesn't. They will have to honour the 1% given that it's on the Bid page (unless of course the auction non-auction succumbs to a "technical error"), but I'd be surprised if that was not the intention - after just filling £500k at 1% on this development, it does not seem likely that it would fill without any CB. Some people may have bid on the banner so they will have to honour it at 1% I agree. Not sure about the intentions though. Where there is doubt, I usually send FC an email saying that I am bidding on the assumption that CB is included.

Newest CB is for 17688 an estate agent which has been taken by surprise by "hidden asbestos" and "additional damp and timber repairs" at their new premises. I am sorry but I had to laugh. Didn't anyone tell them about getting a surveyor in before signing? The original loan to cover the relocation and fitting out was £194,000 - and now they need an extra £220,000 for these unforeseen costs! That sounds like a big problem, and a lot of money to spend on a 10-year lease. They haven't stated so, but it looks like they intend to pay off the existing loan, leaving 31k over for the asbestos. The new rate is 0.3% higher than the previous one, but over 4 years, not three. I'll have a small bit of it on that assumption for flippage.

The next enhancement would be some finer options on setting premiums (and perhaps an absolute cap at +2%). 0.25% intervals would be a good compromise I think. Agreed. A 1% step has a massive effect on APR when there is only a short term left to run. I was going to say that offers with negative APR should be blocked/hidden by the software to protect the unwary, but FS's comment re possible loan renewal is valid.

Newbie question: if I invest before or at lower cashback and then it is added or raised will I get the old or current-higher cashback? Added cash-back goes to everyone. But don't be tempted to bid on something where you expect cash-back to be added later. You may just cause it to be unnecessary!

17594 now has a 1% CB upgrade applied. Asset backed, but I'd prefer it to be 9.5+1.

My experiment with the earlier 6+1 shows that they do not sell as a par-flip. I won't be buying any more. Even tho' they are effectively a solo tranche, I suspect that many auto-bid users adjust settings to avoid them on the secondary market.

My rate of return is still looking good, but this is partly due to my still running down the back catalogue of loan-parts — a process that is nearly complete. I think my rate will drop, but more importantly, I am withdrawing monies because I cannot get enough good opportunities to reinvest it. I'm sticking to Es and CB now.

17439, Godalming has been moved to 2% CB Can't really see why it needed it with nearly 4 days remaining, including the weekend, but hey ho, worth a nibble. I blew most of my free cash the other day when some lunatic started jobbing off still-shiny (almost) £100 property parts at 4% discount I had a couple of those myself, but wasn't confident about shifting them easily, so showed some self-restraint. Hence, I still have money burning a hole. There are quite a few property loans all on at once, probably the perceived reason for the CB upgrade.
