Bad luck taca — mine has just gone up from 10.2 to 21.52, which is about where it was before recent defaults. I noticed this yesterday, and assumed that the basis of calculation had been changed, but it definitely doesn't seem correct.

Personally, it would induce me to add several k more. My aim would be to sell down my holding on the SM later. There are other immenent 13% ers on other sites, but CB is worth more than a simple equivalent rate premium, as it is "up front", and is advantageous from a tax angle.

On some of the bigger loans, many 20% bids are left in. It's certainly possible to get above 20%. One of my accounts is currently showing c.18% gross, but c.20.5% net. The extra 2.5 comes from "transaction gains/loss" i.e. trading, and "promotional credits" (the 0.25% cash back on all successful primary market bids). Obviously, it's necessary to avoid all losses, by whatever means, to achieve that sort of rate —something that I failed to do with my other account, at 12.2% net.

I would like to agree with you - I missed it - it was only on for a flicker (and I was ready waiting for it). Unfortunately I only see £25 bids. I see higher bids, but perhaps these are pre-existing from the rollover.

The 11:00 also seems to have been set with the wrong limit.

18128 just listed: 100k, SME A+ 6% with no cash back. That's a first I think. Interesting to see if it fills, or needs CB aid.

Same issue - nothing came back so I wondered if maybe I had a rounding error and tried again for 1p less… I headed the rounding error thing off at the pass, by funding my account with an extra £0.01. I'm no fool!

I found the pledge button, entered 2000 and pressed save. Screens flashed encouragingly. But how do I know I have pledged? Available funds had not reduced. Can I pledge and pledge again? Agreed, there is no feedback to a pledge, but I'm not worried anymore now that I know it's not just me. Nice that we can see how oversubscribed it is (currently about 110%) in the underwriting bar.

Thanks guys. I see that the 1% granularity on mark-up is a nonsense on such short dated loans. However, selling at par in month 5 on 12%pa loan and avoiding being charged income tax on the interest is worth 4%pa net if your are a higher rate tax payer so maybe thats the way to go....... I'm thinking we need non-linear steps like 0%,0.1%,0.25%,0.5%,1%,1.5%,2%,3%. ***Strongly agree***

Perhaps FC would do well to re-instate the old -3% limit to protect such lenders from themselves? Naaaa! Haaar haaaaar!! sold already. That's tonight's beer money taken care of.
