Generally the loans with more time left will sell quicker, as they are seen as less of a risk.

I don't think there is anything Collateral can do. The problem is that there are more investors than available loans, improving the user experience won't magically make more loan parts available, so I see why Collateral would not spend money investing in this area.

I fear not The PF wasn't so bursting with health that Lendy felt comfortable dipping in to it to top up the capital shortfall after the sale of PBL056, let alone the missing interest (whether vanilla accrued or 'Brucie-Bonus') a couple of weeks back. Will be interesting to see what the update for PBL056 is tomorrow - assuming there is one (I presuming there should be as it is still a 'live', if defaulted, loan). Lenders in loans that been shuffled out of the way into the 'Repaid' section but still outstanding interest don't appear to get any updates. I would sincerely hope that the PF is not usually used to pay out accrued interest of any variety, on any loan. I appreciate it's use so far is unclear, and although it doesn't explicitly state such, I would hope it would only be used for capital payments. If they are still pursuing other recovery avenues with this or any loan then it won't have got to the point of having to decide about or make a PF payout anyway. Didn't the Garden Centre payout fully including interest? I think from memory it was the first loan where the sale of the asset was less that the capital loaned.

Collateral (COL) in Liquidation
Updates tab

Hi Collateral Is there a way you can link the updates page to an investor's investments ? I appreciate the option to review all updates too but a little box saying you are "in" the loan would I think be very useful. Would that be possible ? Thanks in advance I just logged in and noticed there is a "My Loans" tab on the updates page. I've not noticed it before, but this that what you are after? I would be good to only show an update once linked/related loans to reduced repetition in the list of updates.

Interesting stuff.
I notice that bank transfers when withdrawing from Lendy and still recorded as Saving Stream on by bank statement. So as well as registered companies, there are also they also have trading names.

If you CTRL-A on the first page and mark the text (which is white in colour) copy it by pressing CTRL-C and then move to a blank word document and paste it with CTRL-V you can read the text that was hidden on the first page Thanks webwizard I see it now.

On the valuation report for this one the client and applicant have been redacted although here's the bit I really like .... If you search the PDF for the suspected borrower it finds it five times in the document all in the empty redacted positions, so have they just been whited out but the text remains! 😂 Secrecy a child could crack. Logged in to Lendy just to see this. CTRL-A is a giveaway on the first page. I've just tried the CTRL-A method and can see nothing, so perhaps Lendy have been quick on the draw and removed this. (I am using Chrome to view the PDF)

Also remember to add back any recoveries as income. This can be a bit of a pain as recoveries can go on for years.

Collateral 40% Moneything 35% Blend 20% Lendy 5%
Have also tried Funding Secure, Funding Circle and Assetz Capital but now out of these with Lendy reducing.
May try again Assetz and FS in the future (and maybe even Lendy if they up their game!)

We have now received two offers to acquire the property, one from the borrower and the other from another interested party. My emphasis. Am I reading that right? It does not say how much the borrower offered though. Answers on a postcard........

Like the new feature, but there does seem to be a lot of repetition.

I see that Tranche 11 has now started a "bonus accrual" of extra interest in addition to the cashback. Yay! As if anyone will ever see any of that. Presumably just an artefact of a shocking lack of attention to detail. All of this serves to depress me yet further.......... Yes Lendy do show classic signs of under investment in their infrastructure and systems. Its not that difficult work out the various scenarios that will occur with the various features that they come up with, then cough up the readies for some professional software development. Its an area they need to turn their attention to or they will never survive!!
