Seem to remember we used zx81 processor chips in an old telephone system , may be able to find a couple of tubes of spare unused chips which Chris could use for the hardware upgrade and save AC a fortune. Bit of parallel processing and it will be fine.

The software upgrade is the first step, there's a hardware upgrade coming a few weeks later that will give another boost, and then there are further system changes coming down the track to further improve performance across the board. Very glad to hear that you have separated the software from the hardware upgrade - a simple precaution which The Spanish Bank seem to have overlooked.

Chris, any chance of getting rid of the annoying little advert who tells me I can invest in one of your special accounts as I have money sitting idle, when instead it is the shrapnelator which is stuck on the wrong side of a rock with the solar cell in the shadows? Money is available and people want to sell their loans but nothing is happening, except for the advert.....  |

chris I think the SM's stuck - I've had 13 buy orders sitting since late last night and all are showing as having availability - most in the tens of thousands of pounds, some hundreds of thousands and one over a million. It doesn't usually take me this long to buy when there's availability showing - is there a known problem today?

Both my balances are wrong - money is missing from my standard account and my ISA. Hopefully it's stuck buying something but the figures seem too large for that.

There's £250 quid missing from the GBBA in an ISA account that I manage. And the amount qualifying for bonus is wrong in my account.
