Both my balances are wrong - money is missing from my standard account and my ISA. Hopefully it's stuck buying something but the figures seem too large for that. Phew! Glad to know it's not just me. There's £250 quid missing from the GBBA in an ISA account that I manage. And the amount qualifying for bonus is wrong in my account. Me2 about 600 missing from GBBA(1) and no sign where it's gone to, checked through statements, totals are different for the two dates but no sign of that sort of movement. Where has it gone? Brian

No issues, it's just running slowly. Understatement of the week! Still, jam tomorrow... Understatement indeed. It's now 56 hours since I placed the buy orders and still nothing's been bought in 8 loans with hundreds of thousands of pounds-worth of availability, plus this morning my account's "missing" £286.98.

Mrs W is down about £2K in GBBA2, and lesser amounts elsewhere. I suppose it might be loans that have repaid but not been credited to us yet, but (i) the figures don't tally with the little black-box detail I have, and (ii) even if it is that, our total displayed balance shouldn't reduce. So I take a couple of Valium and wait for it all to be resolved after the Bank Holiday.

As at 9:30 this morning 6/5/18, accruals are still running, so yes the system is processing sooooo slowly....but that would also account (probably) for those of you with missing cash...The system has yet to catchup with itself, and that includes various transactions which have not processed against your account. Hence the snapshots you can see 'appear' to be inaccurate.
Thats what I'm hoping anyway.
I think this is the downside of having a service which is available to everyone 24/7/365. The only way I can think of to prevent these near heart-attacks is to take the system offline overnight.
As at 10:30, account statements are updating to reflect buys/sells which processed around 07:00 this morning, so I deduce my theories are correct. No cause for alarm.

New member here My investment balance is still down 20%. Has anyone experience of this happening before - if so how long does it normally take to resolve? Cheers.

Mid 4 figures missing from GBBA and somewhat less in GBBA2. Nothing of that size in the transaction logs. The daily balance feature shows the drops.
Either one or more loans have repaid but the cash not come through or there is a sizeable IT mistake somewhere. If I get chance I’ll see if I can trace through the logs and see if there is an obvious candidate. Not really what I wanted to be doing on a bank holiday weekend.
I would hope that the financial sector, which p2p is part of might learn something from the TSB case study... I guess not yet.

I have just over £5,000 missing from MLIA. My holding of #496 #495 is incorrect, the system shows I have a negative position. edit: #496 #495 has gone negative in my GBBA1 as well.
edit again: As pointed out by ilmoro it is #495, not #496, I have difficulty reading my scribbles sometimes.

I haven't personally noticed this happening before, but it may well have done. It was a fluke that I saw it today, so I can't say how long it'll take to resolve. Hoping for Tuesday. The transaction database has now grown larger than the bug database ( ), so sometimes things do grind exceeding slow. Not sure if you're new to AC or just new to the forum. If the former, then I want to stress that I don't mean to alarm you. My own near-worthless opinion is that in the P2P arena, there are very few platforms that can hold a candle to AC when it comes to openness of communication, competence of management, and the ability to get (and when not, put) things right.

Yes it has happened before and will probably be sorted fairly promptly. Couple of issues have been reported elsewhere ... problem with #495 which is -£2m which i suspect is the cause of the balance drops (could also be #496 as reported below) so might just be an error with tranche drawdowns on development loans .... There is also an issue where the balance statement is not agreeing with the dashboard which has happened before & took longer to resolve. And the SM seems to be stuck which has also happened before and usually gets sorted when somebody pokes it chris the CTO is usually monitoring the forums and might give it a poke if hes not in a deckchair in the garden. Edit Oh and Barclays has taken the weekend off so there are issues with deposits being credited but that one isnt AC resolvable though as chris has posted theyre trying

Just picked up on this. Looks like an error on the ledger, and therefore the repayments tab on the loan, which has caused loan's balance to be incorrect, leading to everyone's loan units to be wrongly valued. I've temporarily suspended trading on the loan to prevent the situation getting worse and notified the director able to investigate and fix the problem. However given the timing and the probable need to get several people involved I don't know how long the fix will take.
I do know that we'll automatically correct errors for everyone so that no one misses out. There's also a new loan model being built that will retain the existing model's flexibility but eliminate it's brittleness. This is a few weeks away still but is the long term solution to stopping these ledger errors occurring.
