I also have bids on loans which have plenty of availability and have been sitting there for hours ☹️
How exactly is this SM supposed to work? With most other p2p companies if you bid on a loan which has availability you get an immediate purchase. Here it seems hit or miss whether you get the purchase within hours or days or even at all?!

It does appear that it’s many of the individual loans that are stuck. I had repeat small purchases go through on at least one hard to get loan during yesterday, while I have not bought anything on many loans that have huge outstanding balances for sale.
As this is a persistent situation, it means that the amounts shown as theoretically available for sale do not represent the true state of the market. We can have no idea what the situation would be if all buy and sell orders were being processed efficiently.

They are aware of the problem and are now working through the backlog. It could take a while to clear it.

They are aware of the problem and are now working through the backlog. It could take a while to clear it. I had a lengthy online "chat" yesterday and was informed by the IT folks that there was no problem  . Well clearly there is, but in AC's defence, it seems that it may just apply to certain specific loans (I think). I've had a few loans up for sale since Tuesday , a couple of which I'm quite certain there will be buyers for (zero availability apart from my sale) and yet there has been no movement since Tuesday, and it's the same story on my wife's account. I'm sure these loans are "stuck". Hopefully it will be sorted out soon. Very bizarre way of buying / selling compared to other P2P sites.

They are still working on the problem and can give no estimation of a fix timescale. I suspect this may be a general blockage rather than just certain loans since i have 10 buy requests for different loans (all with availability) and all have been sitting there since yesterday afternoon with not even a nibble.

Yeah, the market as a whole is still running but it appears to not be matching up sales on some loans. We're working on it but still trying to understand exactly what the specific problem is.

We've rewritten the algorithm that schedules each loan for processing as we believe some loans were not being allocated correctly, with the system now working through the backlog. It's about 1/3rd of the way through all the loans so in another few hours all loans should have been correctly processed. If we're still seeing any problem loans tomorrow then we'll investigate further.

There has now been movement on at least some of the loans that were stuck previously, so hopefully the issue is well on the way to resolved.

Well, it did burst into life this afternoon and half my buy requests serviced. However it seemed to jam up again and nothing else processed since 15:58, so not sure the actual problem is solved.

My cash was initially absorbed in a burst of activity. However, monthly payments subsequently received have not been reinvested, and two loans that no one else is selling are not shifting in the other direction, so I concur that the market has jammed again.
I will not be adding any cash to the site until the issue is resolved and the market functions consistently over a number of days.

After spending most of the eveving hours processing the many interest and capital repayments due it got back to buying and selling in a few more loans for me in the early hours of the morning so the system is definately working but perhaps just a bit overloaded getting through the Xmas backlog and new IFISA activity.

Think the boot of Chris may need applying again ,had a couple orders all day unfulfilled with units available. Have put in a couple more very small actionable orders to test overnight, if no go will contact service desk in morning.
