I've been trying to invest in 18 loans in my new IFISA, many with plenty of availability since 8 April. So far I've got nothing. How often does the system actually run for SM purchasing? All settings are to "reinvest" and there's plenty in the QAA to fund MLA purchases. My "standard" account has been operating perfectly for years!!! Or is it required to put all the money as cash into the MLA then wait for it to be swept in to QAA. All so bl**** complicated!! OK I've just done that to see what happens. .............. ahh it's done it. Now to invest I wish I wasn't old edit: Ah! Success. I've invested £1.09. I must remember: Don't put cash in QAA; put it in whatever account (MLA, GBBA or whatever) you want to invest in and let that sweep spare into the QAA, making sure "invest" settings are set.

To be fair oldgrumpy I think you are suffering from a banana deficit. IFISA works exactly the same as ‘standard accounts ‘. Put your money where you want it invested and sit back and eat bananas (drink gin/red wine). Couldn’t be simpler (just make sure you set accounts to sweep to QAA).

Quite so Min, and I should know better, and I should have remembered (though I'm sure I got my original account set up correctly by accident). (I'm not sure AC show investors clearly anywhere how to set up their account relationships with QAA). As my Vietnamese computer guru Ming says, with slit-eyed grin, "It easy you know how" ) All OK now. Standard account reinvestments paused until I've transferred my full whack into the IFISA. TrialnerrorrulesOK!!! Anyway - sod the bananas - I've now been awarded £3.00 of investment from the SM, so it's ale time. (Nice bottle or two of Boondoggle tonight )

How often each day is the "instruction" algorithm programmed to run? Since I got my settings right yesterday I have managed to bag just £66 in four SM loans. 12 April 16:26 £1 (144) 18:22 £1 (181) 21:37 £1 (678) 23:59 £63 (379) I have buy instructions on loans 464,625,607, 235,200, and 571 all of which have a lot of availability but nothing has been invested in 24 hours. Plenty of cash in the MLA account! Edit: 15:06 £22 more of (379) in two lumps, but still nothing from all those loans with tens of thousand of so called availability. Why are these loans not included in every round of investment instructions? chris Last edit: 21:15 They're on the move. Only Loan (625) to do now, .

Dead again no buys on loans with large availability for 24hrs, boot of Chris plse. This is getting a bit annoying, roll on the new hardware. Seems to happen most weekends, does the hamster do 5 day week, rspca rules. However noticed unusual activity yesterday, interest and capital repayments which indicate possible human activity at A.C. Towers on a Saturday. On a different note getting nervous with the increasing number of suspended loans i am in , need a successful recovery or two to regain confidence, that 0% scottis h one would be just the ticket.

I am struggling to get money invested on the MLA despite the loans showing availability. I raised a query on the live chat line yesterday about this .I have received 2 emails in reply to this query the last one stating the matter was being referred to the IT Team and I would receive an update by 5th May. Are others still having problems.

Yes, me too, I have buy orders that have not moved at all, nothing at all today, last one was 23:58 yesterday. I've only just decided to move into using MLA and really not impressed as I moved money out of QAA to here, and some of it has been sitting around for going on 3 days - frustrating as the availability is showing. I mentioned this about 18 hours ago yesterday here p2pindependentforum.com/post/263519/thread but no comment from the Assetz rep

It seems to be quite random.
Sometimes a buy order will go through fairly quickly( within 4-12 hours is quick) usually where there is a at least £1000 for sale. Other times there are small amounts shown as available but nothing happens for a day or two.
I've got buy orders outstanding on a few loans where nothing is shown for sale, but suddenly a £1 or maybe more will be bought apparently quite randomly, but i guess as someone else sells of one of the Algorithms kicks a bit out from one of the automated account holdings. Over a while it all adds up and I have reached my target holdings in a number of loans this way. It just takes patience. And meanwhile my cash is swept into QAA and earning a reasonable amount.

I have seen no movement in GBBA and PSA buying since about 6am this morning. There has been the occasional exchange (balancing) but no buying with new money. chris Edit: Whooppee!! Things have finally burst into life

No joy for me. Despite numerous applications overnight only a £1 investment made.
