Hi all,
When the news broke, a few of us were asking questions about the autosell algorithm which I didn't really see any answers to.
It's a bit of a fudge, but just to share one thing that might be of some use to someone. If you have (or acquire) any larger and unusually shaped loan parts, then if you note down the sale price as currently listed in the 'sell individually' tab, and then feed that to autosell, it does seem to more often than not select that 1 loan part. Note you'll need to remove the loan part from sale to see the effect.
For example, I have a £320 piece of Hitchin. The sale price on the 'sell individually' tab is £321.62, so if you select autosell and feed it the latter figure then it comes up with:
We have selected loan parts from your portfolio which are close to the requested amount.
Total of loans to be sold £320.00 Accrued interest £1.62 Estimated funds from sale £321.62
Just to re-iterate this is a possible fudge, which I have not extensively tested. As it's a total black box, there may well be scenarios whereby autosell will contrive to avoid the part you want it to pick, so DYOR + testing if you'd like to use it.

So going forward we need to buy new loan parts at unique price points...
Ah...wait a moment...
Bugger.

Yeah, probably a bit late to build a huge portfolio now May be useful though if you've built up a wide range already and then hit a classic "CCJ / CCJ lifted" scenario with one loan for example that you then want to get rid of sharpish without offloading all of the rest.
