Hi
Yesterday, I paused my lending, checked that I had (got the big yellow banner) and thought that meant the setting would stay the same until I chose to resume lending.
This morning I find that the setting has reverted back to lending and that I (or rather FC) have purchased a loan part on my behalf.
Now I am quite open to the idea that I had a senior moment but has anyone else had a similar problem?

I paused mine and it is still paused, so maybe you had finger trouble (or maybe the fact I have a zero balance helped my case!). Try again, would be my suggestion.

Yes I have reset back to pause and will monitor closely. Unlike yourself, I do have a small balance c. £60.

I'm confused as to what my lending status is. At close of play on Sept 17 Autobid was 'off'. I had accepted the new T&C but as it was done on a mobile phone it was impractical to actually read them!
When I click on Lending Settings it says "Start Lending Today" but says 'Balanced' is selected. There is no option to deselect. Only to select 'Conservative'. At the bottom there is a confirm button. Its all totally ambiguous as to whether I have or already have accepted 'Balanced'.
I'm a 2 month newbie to FC and had selected the portfolio I needed which doesn't match either of these settings so my current policy is to let the portfolio run and take the proceeds to invest elsewhere where I have some control. Is my cash safe until I withdraw?

Is my cash safe until I withdraw? I suggest you find a PC, log in and check your "Lending settings" page. If your lending is paused then you'll have a yellow stripe across the top that says "Lending is currently paused", plus a button to "Resume lending"

OK when I was taking the risk. But now with them deciding my risk? Well I shall sit out my current portfolio and watch from the sidelines how they make out. Meanwhile I won't be 'referring a friend'.
